Watched It, unimpressed, we didn't like it at all Made a stove at a huge cost and claimed it's 5kw output would keep the whole boat warm, given the size of the boat I somehow doubt it. Paid 30k for boat plus 6k to have brought from Holland then spent 40k on the fit out, could have bought a widebeam with more space for less. The windows went in with no sealant of any description and so it went on. A typical "trendy yuppy build" The wheel house was well executed but not sure how it affected the air draft as that was not mentioned. Phil

At least it was a boat and not the usual floating oblong.

I don't have TV or ability to watch this sort of thing it I already hate it.
I believe peter bargemast is a it of a fan of "oliekop" tanker barges. Are there any pictures of it ?

I have a TV but I also have a huge Tesco in between my aerial and the local transmitter at the moment so no picture.

Are you still moored in Kidderminster? Rog Yes, I've spent today giving the boat a polish and wax because after I'd got the stain off and polished that bit, the rest of the boat looked crap. Also had a walk around town, I've been to Kidderminster quite a bit in various trucks and I quite like the place. No problem with the local scrotes, plenty of people have stopped and chatted about boating, and I never mind that. I might move on tomorrow, I might stay until the weekend and go for a ride on the SVR. I don't know if the Severn is open yet, finding that out might well influence my decision.

So stories of your possible murderation or harassment are exaggerated.
We're at Chorley. Walked to the mill at Botany Bay, then back into town. It's okay. A bit like being at home.
Up the locks tomorrow and more into the countryside.

Nothing could ever beat the Medway eco-barge. Medlock, I presume? "I have A41 "Medlock" I stopped it going into a scrap yard about 5 years ago."

A bit like being at home. If you want to know what it's like at the Fox's home, you may like to call into Hoghton Tower - they let the public in for Afternoon Tea now. www.hoghtontower.co.uk/
