Has anybody seen the logo in the wild yet? Yes, new signs were put up near me on the day of launch.

I tweeted the crt team telling them the level on the ashby canal had dropped a fair bit, would they be looking to dredge as i was struggling to get on the bank last weekend, they then asked me if certain areas are worse than others... why do they not know this, why do they not have people walking the towpath and looking at the levels, here is an idea, the person that logs boats could also report any damages, speak to boaters and ask if they have any issues... not rocket science is it.

So they certainly lied about being 'phased in'. Boiling my piss now, absolute lies from them about £60k budget and everything being phased in, then the constant photos on social media with gazebos in the new livery, clothes, vans, cakes and fucking parties... I’m getting them old logos printed, screw the cost, they are going over every new logo I see.

I take it you noticed the erroneous apostrophe.
I assume they meant services for boaters (plural) rather than services belonging to a single boater.
You'd think spending that much money they'd at least check them.

Rog, as an uber Grammar Nazi myself I salute you... I must confess I missed that. The only question now, is should the apostrophe be after the "s" to indicate that it is used by multiple boaters, or should there be no apostrophe at all ( as in "mains water" or "goods vehicle") because there is no sense of possession at all? Being a pedant can be so difficult at times.

I believe the intention was to indicate the plural, so no apostrophe needed. They may have an 'ology' in talking management bollocks, but they can't proof read a sign for a shit house Money well spent. Rog

Maybe there is only room for one boat at a time in which case boater's facilities would be technically correct. It may be that different boaters use it but if it is being used at any one time by one boater then it is boater's facilities ie facilities for a boater. This does not imply that it is specific to one particular individual boater.
I have not been in Nantwich since 1999 so I can not recall the length of the mooring.

"... salt barges sailed through the night on the fly (a type of narrow boat)..."
Hmm
I don't like that at all.

It's great because all those signs with maps on that they are taking down are less than two years old , I wonder how much they cost, and is it included in the 2.2 million of the re branding?
