It looks gorgeous. Unless there's bodies in the garden, there's no horror there. Mug of tea (or even something stronger) on that bench seems idyllic. Rog An idyllic tranquil haven of peace hides an entity that is hell bent on chaos..... I would have said "hides an entity that is hell bent on having a great time" based on our brief but fun filled meeting Cheers! Rog

Yes, nice house Patty, but I was saying you don't want spotty teenage thugs come round at night and spray their tags all over it. Graffiti can be artistic - often better than Van Gogh, Turner and Picasso - but in the right place - not all over brand new buildings, buses, trains, cars, statues, gravestones. The new bridge at Elland (opened July 2016) has already got some right shitty scummy mumblings daubed all over it. Pathetic and pointless vandalism by juvenike delinquents. But nobody is arguing with that. All that has been said is that the loss of life in the Loughborough incident is sad and regrettable, and not something in which a reasonable and well-balanced person would find reason to gloat. A sad and regrettable incident. May they rest in pieces. Eta just to clarify that Loughborough Junction is nowhere near Loughorough. It is roughly half way between Brixton and Camberwell on Coldharbour lane. It is approximately at the border of London postcodes SW9, SE5 and SE24. Don't ask me how I know this.

Knotweed is just a weed but it travels underground and can come up through concrete...I've heard so many horror stories that no way will my place be victim...

TBH I think few appreciate how awful the weed is unless they live where its rife....i have worked really hard to keep my land free and it's cost both health wise and financially...i'm tired of the continual struggle solo...atm I'm writing up 550 verses of 'poetry exchange' which I'm putting in a book for an old friend who has composed about half of them...im including diary documentation so the verses are set in time specific...anyway going back to that time its quite horrifying reading and realising just how much of me I've poured into house renovation and garden/field...it has to stop. I want to break free of the house and all that it means.
