Now I think back, there was a rise in washing line Knicker nicking in the area at the time. Very strange. Some of the local ladies were barely chuffed about it. Well, I'm a bit of a fat bastard as you know Jim, but a pair of knickers swiped from the washing line of the average chip-barm munching, Tetleys ale swilling fat lass from your part of the world would immediately drop straight down round my ankles. Sweaty Betty And the unforgettable Charlotte

In your dreams, Mr S!?! x I'm sure a pair of your knickers would be a far more attractive proposition. What day do you do your washing?

Oh yes it is, you've got mummy issues haven't you? Actually the correct term was the one used by quaysider. homophobic. Homo in this case is Greek not Latin. It means "the same". It does not mean "man" as in homo sapiens. Someone who actively discriminates against women who do sex activities with other women is a homophobe. Obviously there will be some theoretical confusion and "cross over" with misogyny but as I understand it male homosexuality is generally related to unresolved issues in the father and son relationship as opposed to the mother and son relationship. I can generally tolerate most people but I do hate homophobic people, racists, misogynists and people who judge others by their physical appearance. I just can't stand that at all. What I really hate far more though is fat ugly black lesbians .

Well I gave you a “like” for part of it, but the middle bit was twaddle. You must have been reading the daily mail - agony section - again!

Anyway I still maintain homophobe isn’t the right word for someone who finds gays blokes fine, in fact is one. But finds lesbians rather trying even when they don’t smell of cat piss and have pubes in their teeth.
<cop out note: of course SOME lesbians are very nice!>

I can understand that.
Women's tennis is so much more interesting as the rallies are generally longer.

We used to write this on pocket calculators when they came out in the '70s
5 3 1 5 5 3 7
(needs to be looked upside-down)

ANYWAYS... Yesterday - the WHOLE day - we managed to get from just outside Salterhebble to Luddenfoot I think it's called... NOT a lot of water and even on tickover some of the bridges required us both to sit on one side... NOT helped by the lockie at tuel lane letting water down into sowerby bridge.... which wasn't needed compared to the chaos it will cause up here. Today we aim for Hebden bridge but having had a walk last night, it's going to be interesting.
MORE worrying is the gin has nearly ran out... and the beer.... and the wine... all we have left is champers.

Luddenden Foot.
Hebden Bridge Co-Op will be your saviour, good selection of beers anyway.
Bell ringing practice Heptonstall Tuesday evenings - twp pubs up there. Also Fox & Goose (Hebden Bridge) is a pub worth poppoing into.
Coal, logs, kindling merchant beside railway station.
