Pleasant walk never the less on a lovely day. Rog That towpath looks a bit uneven to me, Jane wants to be careful that she doesn't *ahem* "fall over". 😆😆😆

relatively poor weather today. More rain although not heavy.
Got to lose the kids back to the big smoke then continue to enjoy the River. I found a way for my Tilley hat to look less grubby. It has sweat marks so I have experimented with furniture wax spray it will be interesting to see if it works. The idea is to darken the whole thing and disguise the sweat.

There is an easier solution, don't work so hard, no sweat!

Went to the boat today to move it, the pound I'm in is leaking like a sieve. I'd talked to local CRT guy last night, it would be full around dinner time 2 boats coming over Summit pound. Got there after dinner, missed it, pound had dropped a foot, boat sat on bottom again. They'd got up the hill and hour earlier. So having a ride on bike, now sat in Hollingworth Lake Café, run by RSPCA, coffee and a puppy, they of a good Korean menu.

There's something quite atmospheric about a disused church which served a village that is no longer there. Rog

Been another fine and dry day today, got more polishing and painting done, hoping to re-paint the yellow coachline next weekend if the weather is agreeable.
Rubbed down and treated some rust on the inner sections of the bow deck and painted it in primer. I'll paint that next weekend with some green enamel I have knocking around, but I have also located supplies of the original paint, Mason's Deep Royal Green and I'll probably do the final coat with that, only problem being that it is £55 for a 1 litre tin including P&P so I'll need to do more paintwork with it to make that sort of expenditure worthwhile.
Back to work tomorrow, I'm inclined to go on the Vespa, This does save a bit of money in fuel (£1.50 vs £4 in the car) but it's also enjoyable when the weather is decent.

Jesus is annoyed by this. Jesus can do one... It's a Bank Holiday and it's pissed down nearly all day, tomorrow when people are back at work it's due to be sunny and 5 degrees warmer. Yep I'm sure all those hard workers are greatful of the benovelent son of Jesus for being such a nice considerate 'all powerful God'.

I think everyone should try this trick. Start a sentence then select the middle word of the autosuggest. You can learn a lot about yourself.
People will want to get their wives or husbands phone and try this.

Blue sky and sunshine to start the day.
We had a very warm pleasant day yesterday despite the forecast, only having rain for an hourish around 3pm. We were out walking but had taken brollies 👍🏻
We may pop back to the Wolverton launderette today ... Jane didn't want to moor by the flats overnight.
Hope everyone's getting some sun and drying out.
