What a jolly kind offer, thank you Mr StabbyBut we bought our paint in preparation earlier in the year. Just need to find the enthusiasm to start the prep. work. Rog

Not as glorious today as it was yesterday.
Still alright but chilly. I am contemplating the beneficial aspects of lighting the fire during the ante meridian temporal phase.
Its June !

Third and last coat of blacking put on this morning. Gunnels also painted in black satin and bits and bobs tidied up. All done. Boat back in the water Thursday. All in all it’s been a good few days, enjoyed it and would happily do it again.

Left Cowley at 7.50am and moored on our berth at 1.15pm.
London's so whacky ... what can you say.
Love the Underground ... what a terrific system.
So busy everywhere ... already looking forward to heading north and a return to peace.
But we have a week of fun and frolics in 'Lunnon' first and it's going to be an action packed, exciting, busy week.
Such fun !

See if any of your plans can integrate with using the Elizabeth Line, even for a couple of stations.

Love the Underground ... what a terrific system. Little bit of trivia here. For five years, you could travel on an underground train to watch a public execution. True, that is.

Not Thomas More's I guess ... 1535.
We're off to the Tower of London tomorrow 😁

It is just a bit of a different experience, length of trains, utilarian stations etc - you won't see the full benefits as you are not crossing from west to east or vice versa. I'd be interested on what you think about it.

Just checked Mr Stabby and you're right of course. Oddly we travelled that line (Paddington to Farringdon) today and commented how old it appeared compared to other journeys. Rog

I like doing Elizabeth line then Bakerloo line. Its like time travel.
However recently I have been further down the River using the suburban SWR line into Waterloo which is quite nice.

Great day in the Tower of London, and by chance saw the bridge open for a sailing boat to pass. Rog
