Moored down at Sharpness. The G&S is a lovely place to boat. Amazing views of the Severn bridge from our boat. Lovely warm and often sunny day, loads of swing bridges, all operated by CRT guys. Perfect day.

More work on the Scoopy today. Rubbed down the legshield which is going to be repaired and then stickerbombed, painted the exhaust in VHT paint and the heat shield in wheel silver. The exhaust is currently on the rotary airer, which is designed for such things. Hoping to take it for MOT at the beginning of August when Charlie is up but there's still a lot to do. Back to work at Slam Transport tomorrow, going to somewhere in Hampshire that I've never heard of.

In terms of the £350k cash legacy it seems interesting.
I just realised due to the way the Will was constructed it also includes 4 yars of income so lets say £8k per yar that would be £32k + £350k so its looking more like £382k.
So in the real world I get weighed in with £382k at some point.
In the unreal world they take me to the cleaners and I end up wandering about.
Obviously I am not going to get a job or seriously engage with the benefit scrounger life model so it is all looking like getting interesting.
Question.
What is it that you can always, in every situation, find?
Out.

I don't see a problem to be honest Admiral. I was born and raised within a few miles of the Manvers coking plant on a pit estate heated by coal fires ... thick smog was an everyday feature of our lives. I still live in that area, but the coking plant has long gone as has the pits and steel rolling mills, and it's been a clean air zone for a long time, so domestic chimneys are no longer belching out horrible, sooty, stinky smoke. Real progress and an individual choosing to 'burn sheep' on a stove is going to get noticed and complained about pretty quickly. Approved fuels are available. Rog

It is progress of sorts I suppose.
However I would fight for the right of any man (or woman) to burn sheep if they want to burn sheep. Its my right as a man to burn sheep.
Don't you oppress me.
I also think incinerating the shit is the best solution during winter rather than having a massive profit generating corporation dealing with it then just pumping into the rivers.

Perfect day. Having just returned from there, despite the low numbers, the few reasonable mooring spots seem 'git gapped' with continuous moorers and the non existent 'veg pledge' does not help. The views from the end are quite wonderful and because of their isolation don't seem to get monopolized by overstayers.

I love the expression 'git gaps'. Its brilliant.
There should be a dictionary for these sorts of terms or a thegasaurus.

Living in the relatively heavily peopled West Midlands, many inhabitants take the opportunity to burn sheep on any suny day. Oh sorry, they are barbequeing!
