Well, if you don't CRT will confiscate your boat after a couple of years and lots of warnings. Unless you declare exemption obvs, then they can't touch you. Just keep on insisting you are right and you know best. That'll learn 'em.

That's a despicable post ... worse than your infamous cat post. Rog ETA I always accepted your explanation that the cat post was a clumsy misjudgement. That post reveals malice and ill will. Disgusted. Irrelevant too since I don't live on the mooring. I live in a house in Kent where I pay Council Tax and am on the electoral register. There is no Law whch obliges me to spend any prescribed amount of time there. Obviously The Mong is about as clued up about Law as Paedophile Dunkley. Is there anything that this deranged psychopath tells the truth about, . . or anybody, or any organisation, from the DVLA to current employers, companies who don't employ him, and never have or would, . . that he isn't wilfully misleading and lying to or about ? It appears not, . . and one of them, Slam Transport, would like to know why they've been chosen for special attention from this dangerous nutter and his internet stalking/trolling buddy Roger Day, . . another like-minded arsewipe who posts on this Forum as ' dogless'.

Been a lovely day ... more my kind of temperature and a pleasant breeze too.
Rain in the morning until about 11am
We'll let it pass and cruise later.
Nice spot here ... just been watching a big old fox in the fields opposite.
Apart from passing trains it's very quiet.

Pleasant and warm in Kettering, a bit cooler than yesterday but that's no bad thing. Still grateful for the truck A/C though. Checked the DVLA website, the Scoopy is still showing that the last V5C was issued in 2011. I know DVLA write to the last known keeper asking them if they still have the vehicle and they are given two weeks to reply. I sent off the V62 three weeks ago so hopefully things will move soon although DVLA tend to be a law unto themselves and can take much longer. You should get it soon now the Olympics are finished the shirkers from home might now do some work.i

Been raining quite heavily overnight here which I suppose is no bad thing. Still no movement on the Scoopy's V5C, alas. The DVLA updates its database at midnight every day so it's usually the first thing I check when I get up, ready for another exciting day at Slam Transport. I guess it is at the earliest point in the window at which it could be done, but still I'll be glad when this page updates as I can't tax it until the V5C is issued. I'll probably still take it to the Brinklow Festival whatever happens, which is a week-and-a-half away.

How I live is completely, totally legal in every aspect. Unlike some here, I fully understand the Law and do not think that different interpretations of it apply to me. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's evident from the above quotes and his 'selfie' photograph (reproduced below), the extent to which moronic psychopath Vince 'Shit-for-Brains' Coventon does actually 'understand' any part or any aspect of the Law, in general or in particular, . . or the likelihood of his living a life that's - quote - ". . completely, totally legal in every aspect". Warwickshire Police appear to have been taken in and fooled by Coventon's post (quoted above) in which he states that he lives in Kent, and say they are currently looking into this man's dubious history, activities, background, and location. To this end, and despite the Police officers assigned to investigating the internet/on-line offences committed by him being based at Newbold Road Police Station, Rugby, CV21 2DH, . . no more than 10 to 15 minutes drive from the residential boat moorings at Colehurst Farm, CV23 0PT, near Rugby, where this moronic psychopath has lived on a (uninsured) boat that he doesn't own for the past 9 years, . . the Police have so far done little more than to expend time and resources in pursuing enquiries that extend to other Police forces, the DVLA, the DWP, local authorities, the Canal & River Trust, employers and mooring providers in the Rugby area, and ProBoards, the hosts of this Forum.

Not actually raining, but damp like low cloud and very overcast.
Hopefully it will lift as the day goes on, but I think we'll move on.
Although a lovely spot, the towpath in both directions is very overgrown so it's not easy to go walking.
Weedon I think.

Well, we were a bit pissed off to be driving through heavy rain in northern England and souther Scotland, but we woke up this morning to clear and brilliant blue skies in Aberdeen. Zero clouds. So we definitely followed the sun.
