On 12 Aug 2024 at 5:16pm Mr Stabby said: . . . I don't live on the mooring. I live in a house in Kent where I pay Council Tax and am on the electoral register. - and - later on 12 Aug 2024 at 8:35pm Mr Stabby also said: . . . as thick as two short planks. How I live is completely, totally legal in every aspect. Unlike some here, I fully understand the Law and do not think that different interpretations of it apply to me. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's evident from the above quotes and his 'selfie' photograph (reproduced below), the extent to which moronic psychopath Vince 'Shit-for-Brains' Coventon does actually 'understand' any part or any aspect of the Law, in general or in particular, . . or the likelihood of his living a life that's - quote - ". . completely, totally legal in every aspect". Warwickshire Police appear to have been taken in and fooled by Coventon's post (quoted above) in which he states that he lives in Kent, and say they are currently looking into this man's dubious history, activities, background, and location. To this end, and despite the Police officers assigned to investigating the internet/on-line offences committed by him being based at Newbold Road Police Station, Rugby, CV21 2DH, . . no more than 10 to 15 minutes drive from the residential boat moorings at Colehurst Farm, CV23 0PT, near Rugby, where this moronic psychopath has lived on a (uninsured) boat that he doesn't own for the past 9 years, . . the Police have so far done little more than to expend time and resources in pursuing enquiries that extend to other Police forces, the DVLA, the DWP, local authorities, the Canal & River Trust, employers and mooring providers in the Rugby area, and ProBoards, the hosts of this Forum. *

Happy August Bank Holiday to everyone. Lovely to wake once again to blue skies and sunshine rather than lashing rain. Met up with old friends (in that I've known them many years and we're all geriatrics too 🤭) and having lots of fun. Dinner on one of their boats last night, but off to the pub to eat at tea time today. Weather's looking quite good as we rush into September, but then again it's usually good as we return home to begin work in October. Not heard from work yet ... we'll chase it up this week. Hope you're having fun too 😎 Rog What bank holiday? Still bloody freezing and raining at the gliding club yesterday, but we have a flying week next week and so far the forecast says warm and sunny. Keeping fingers crossed.

Anyway.
I will be getting the Taskmaster launch and my abundant generosity means I shall be paying for it. Handsomely to the tune of £200. I was as shocked as anyone.
I expect it will turn out to be another red herring but I am a sucker for these Eton Racing Boats launches. Really like 'em.
Its a great shame that the illustrious Honda outboard has been left in the dirt but such is life. You can't win them all.

It was a funny story when the bloke said 'for a donation' and I said what about a hundred pounds. He said 'if you could stretch to £150' and I was like 'OK. is two hundred alright?'.
The thing is I have been eyeing up the Taskmaster launch for ages. These ERB launches are true works of art. This one is the previous version to the Podium and it has marine ply topsides rather than GRP which is an issue but is basically sound. It might all be a terrible mistake but that doesn't really matter because they are such cool Boats.
They really are cool.
My money payment is going to High Wycombe grammar school. Obviously as a son of the rich I have a certain amount of concern for people who are in such a constrained position where they need to send their kids to grammar schools. So a charitable donation for an old pile of fibreglass and a wrecked outboard seems to help my conscience.

Lovely evening at the Greyhound, Hawkesbury.
New owners but the service and food were as you'd expect ... excellent pub food.
All drinks and two courses each for 6 worked out at £27 per person.
I gave a tip, but my friend very generously paid the bill, top man 👍🏻
Definitely worth a visit.

Watching incompetent people hitting the sides at the hairpin must be fun.
I first did it in my 30 footer in May 1994. Never hit the side. Also did it a couple of times in my 55 footer and never hit the side.
Coventry. Great innit.
The home of Coventry Victor.
And Godiva.
And the Climax !

Always fun watching the turn.
Unbelievably they've had volunteers on duty (upto three of them on Saturday) on the stop lock every day.
Seems overkill, but if folks choose to give up their time to help, so be it.

Thats definitely getting a bit silly.
What is the drop about a foot or something? I don't think its even that.
Cor I haven't been on the narrows for ages. I suppose if the £368k cash legacy comes my way I might.
The younger offspring (the Mensa kid) has decided she wants to live on a small narrow Boat when she is older so I expect she will and I will get to help. Which will be good !

Warwickshire Police have spent nearly two years investigating convicted thief and child sex offender Tony Dunkley's complaint that I had gained unauthorised access to the Police National Computer and they still apparently haven't finished.

But "they" - Warwickshire Police - do appear to be making some sort of progress, . . if it can be described as such !
On Thursday of last week, 22 Aug 2024, Inspector 2692 Johnson - clearly a rising star of Warwickshire Police - wrote to me complaining that, against Police advice, I had continued to engage and "converse" with Vincent 'Mr Stabby' Coventon on this forum, and because I had - quote - "posted his personal details on a public message board, breaching article 8 of the European Human Rights Act." I had "compromised" the case against him, making it impossible for the Police to proceed with a prosecution.
