well, improving slowly now dogless
it turned into sciatica after a day or two and that is slow to improve. Certainly better than it was but I think it will be another week at least before I am up to doing any real jobs. Need to be doing as much moving round as I can, starting to do some exercises for it and trying to do some chores as I have not been able to do any for a week now. At least now I'm not worried about getting through all my jobs and getting cabin fever ...... at the speed I'll be working for a while, I will have plenty to keep me busy for months.

Hope yours is a temporary nuisance kris ... wait till you get old and stuff stops getting better Rog I think I’ve started getting old Rog, that’s the problem. Snap I am 62 and feeling it but I have been very busy for weeks, I have a double allotment tons and tons of hawthorne to cut up and am welding my camper up for good measure

Cruising again ... and lovely to move it was Services were busy, so we had to cruise out to Henhull to turn first. Lots of moored boats, so mostly tick over, but it was pleasant to get the engine upto 1200rpm on a clear stretch and conversing to the crews of boats we passed, and assorted dog walkers. Emptied cassettes, and took a rinsing bucket this time, as the tap has no hose and is not over the elsan, so is of limited use without taking a bucket with you. Bins had been emptied ... but the tap is very, very slow. Chatted to a local liveaboard who is a lorry driver, and his wife a carer ... and thanked them for looking after us all. Got some laundry done, and passed on our huge thanks to the lady owner for leaving it open. Back on our mooring in isolation just over four hours later, all set for another week. So much excitement in one day Rog

My thrill today was cleaning the bathroom & then the kitchen...I don't like cleaning. My next excitement will be having a rootle through the freezer to sort out tomorrow's tea.
