Poland: sharma, pierogi, zywiec beer, fantastic. You don't need to learn the language just 'yeden pivo' (one beer) and point at the pump you want, point at the food on the menu, it's all good.

Tell us about the time you flew round The Moon, Jim. OK smart arse. Moonboat, a circus theatre show we toured around in the early 90's, inspired by Le Voyage Dans la Lun (A Trip to the Moon) by Georges Méliès (1902) Now your turn, regal us with creative and exciting tales of your many hours behind the wheel of a bus, "Buses I have known". It might help Noreen with her Narcolepsy, when she's struggling to fall asleep at night.

Rabbit is a favourite of mine. Daughters bf shoots them π When I was a student, a mate had a gun licence, I kept Ferrets. We had permission on a few farms, also used to go poaching. On camping trips on the motorbikes we used to pick up roadkill rabbits. I'm not one to wave a hunting knife about for show, I know how to skin my victims. How do you remember so far back?

It's the old stuff that's easy to recall, the recent stuff that doesn't stick as you approach dotage. Or have you forgotten that already?

If the deli has something looking a bit like this
but with a thicker pastry crust, try a slice. It was described to me by the Polish boater as 'The Polish pork pie'. Delicious.
Whats in it?..looks interesting

What I was given was slightly different - probably based upon something similar to that but more meat and surrounded by a suet crust pastry - probably a home made 'fusion' recipe.

It says 8.56pm are the clocks set up the other way around over there? No... kids are just so lazy, so it really was time to shake them out of bed. Got a couple of decent timelapses of the RΓ€isΓ€lΓ€n chain ferry, and now bumped into a rain cloud at Savukoski. Enormous river next to us - Kemijoki. Time to turn South...
