Yes but it isn't.
The correct word is "monstrous".
It's just the way it is. Everyone wishes it were not that way but it is and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
Deal with it.

Yes but it isn't. The correct word is "monstrous". Surely that depends on whether the speaker pronounces it "monstrous" or "monsterous"?

Monsterous is not a word.
You could say "monsterlike" that would be a suitable alternative but "monsterous" is not valid.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother.
It might just be easier to stick with yotting.

Tythe barn is worth a look and the pill boxes at the ford, nearby. There is currently a rescue operation on a sunken narrowboat at smell Bridge.(swing Bridge just west of BOA

What you need to understand is that written language should be descriptive, not prescriptive. Having read many of your previous posts, I am confident that nothing you believe is worth considering.

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts, and I can only apologise for not having reciprocated in kind.

It was monsterous ... not monstrous ... and seeing as none of you were there, mine is the only accurate, first hand account.

Anyway did anyone get any glorious sunshine today?
None of it around down here in the lovely Oxon/Berks countryside.
Still pleasant though and of course less hot sun usually means a reduction in the number of idiots causing negative vibes so cooler weather is not all bad.
