Anyone who voted Remain was voting for the Status Quo,I say that because Cameron had already been given the Bums Rush in his failed efforts at Renegotiation and the people were not fooled. How could anyone expect a successful Remain Vote to secure any Reform when you have lost your main weapon which was the threat to leave in the first place.

"100% of the media were backing Brexit apart from the BBC". LOL! Independent DM Sun (mostly) virtually every tv debate seemed skewed for leave the other thing is we are all guilty of seeing the media in a certain way, I am guilty of it too. It could be that I saw what I wanted to see in some sources but the newspapers and especially the DM Express and others were definitely pro leave.

Angela Merkel lands at Warsaw Airport.
The Immigration Officer says "Occupation?".
She says "No, just staying for the weekend".

But thats what a lot of the remain campaigning was about especially on social media, we need to be in it to reform it. Stay and have a say in the laws and rules, leave and be told what to do. Only from the inside do we have a chance of reforming it etc etc. I voted remain but I didnt want the EU as it is but I knew we couldnt reform from the outside, Juncker nearly made me change my vote to leave but as I was on the fence I asked my eldest how hed vote as hes 17 and it would affect him longer and he said remain.

We have such a lot in common with the Germans,in fact I would say that even all these years after WW2 there are still only two real countries in Europe,us and them. I genuinely feel for them just now because i think they are being mugged over this immigration.

Well, that's a bit like staying in a paedophile gang in order to persuade them to stop buggering children.

For me and presumably all the rest who voted OUT it was a nonsense.I genuinely believe that Europes attitude to Great Britain stems from WW2 and beyond. We are a belligerent lot us British, not natural team players,we are an island after all and we have a lot to be proud of given our size. i just hope we can get on and build a more cohesive society where everyone has a chance, where everyone matters, just what Theresa May said really.

For some reason its cool to not 'do politics' its only every aspect of your life it affects.

You had me until you mentioned May, no way will she even try and build a cohesive society, its anathema to the very ethos of the tory party in my experience.

You might be right,I have never voted Tory so I am not a natural supporter but I did agree with her words if nothing else. I would never trust a Politician but my faith in people has certainly been renewed by whats happened.
