"Time to get serious, we need to stop these killers spreading the virus. If they don't return immediately, the Army sharp shooters should be called in and the escapees shot if they refuse. Simple easy solution." "up to four vegetable pickers are believed to have 'escaped' police-guarded A S Green And Co in Herefordshire, where 75 people working and living on the site in trailers have tested positive for the virus." "They should never have been allowed to fly in in the first place and should all be sent back. We have plenty of our own prisoners and unemployed who should be made to do these jobs" www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8517851/Four-workers-escape-coronavirus-hit-vegetable-farm-Herefordshire.html

I would hope whatever country develops a vaccine ensures every lab that can make it regardless of where it is is given the data... That it is not then sold at ridiculously inflated prices That for one the needs of people take precedent over profit grabbers..... worth a read ................

Visited supermarkets this morning (Morrisons and Aldi) fully expecting to be advised to wear a face covering ... and took out my hanky ready to tie on.
But no requirement ... not even advisory at present.
I wore my hanky on a bus the other day, and will wear it if compulsory (or I am suffering ill health ... but if that's the case I won't be going out) but will not be wearing a covering unless requested.

It feels like a communist state-being told that I HAVE to wear a maskπ‘.I went into a clothes shop today & the lady serving me was behind plastic screens- plus she was wearing a 'welding' mask.I had to put my purchases on the counter, step back behind a line, then step forward again to pay.If I'd wanted a bag,I'd have had to pick one off a stand on my side of the counter.I then went into Holland & Barrett where I had to scan my own goods at the counter so that the assistant didn't touch them.Every shop had sanitizer by the door, including the 3 charity shops I visited. We then went for coffees,so more sanitizer.I counted that as I'd visited 7 shops plus a cafΓ©,that's 8 lots of hand sanitizer in a couple of hours. My hands will end up looking like pickled walnuts !

Ali fancied the pants of the dark haired one. Had a couple of beers at the Nelson in Braunston lunchtime, very good, well organised and no masks and a tiny bit of Perspex screen. Had it been like Trinaβs shopping experience Iβd have walked out. Moored now near the Olive bush on the way to Napton. They have pinned flyers to the trees, they deliver food to bridge 102. As for masks, itβs really just a face covering isnβt it? We will just pop a bike snood on if pushed, otherwise I think it best to just be sensible with distancing. Oh, shop in Braunston, the butchers and Nelson all took cash! Brought steaks for dinner tonight, will knock up a pepper sauce and celebrate July 14th. Toast our great friends over the water with a decent red.
