Biggish news for Finland, directly attributable to China's bio-weapon: Finnair flights to five regional airports to stop. Permanently. Kokkola (that's ours!), Kajaani, Joensuu, Jyväskylä and Kemi. We have often flown from Kokkola to Helsinki and straight on to London/Manchester/Birmingham. Looks like it'll have to be by train now. Thanks, China! www.is.fi/taloussanomat/art-2000006639452.html Either that or stay at home and resume your boating when it is actually safe to travel👍

"more people are dying from flu and pneumonia right now than Covid, and Covid deaths are at an all time low from the peak. Cases are going up but the death rate is not going up - and it has been this way for a long time" "Its okay to go as four to the pub and mix with who's ever in there. But that same four can't go to each others house as there's a bigger risk. Never in my life heard such boll#ks from our government." "No more than 6 are allowed to gather outdoors! Funnily enough grouse shooting is exempt why is there not a bigger outcry over this conflict of interests?" "If Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock were both drowning and you could only save one of them, which pub would you go to first?" "Because they know the majority of the British people have no backbone .. this can be seen by all the sheeple still wearing a mask, that is more likely to self infect the wearer than stop any virus spread .. absolutely no studies or research done on mask wearing within the general public .. its just guesswork based on very flimsy science .. in fact the mask mandate was a political decision to try and give people confidence to go out and shop and restart the economy ..it is total BS" "Why is the Wirral peninsular missed of this map?"

You may think It’s nonsense, but tbh that doesn’t really affect you - your boat will be perfectly safe tied up on the K&A with a sump full of unused oil. Staying at home is about the best thing you can do - that and you shit out of luck with August eat out to help out 🤭

STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES, PROTECT THE REST OF US Alternatively, go out, travel as safely as you can. Enjoy life, spend some money. Help the economy, help your mental health. Help to give the younger generations a future. Don’t get too worried about covid19. Chances are, should you catch it, that you will just feel poorly for a few days.

STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES, PROTECT THE REST OF US Sorry, no can do, I have a job to do. And curiously, although nobody at work practices "social distancing" or wears a face nappy, not one person there has had coronavirus or knows anyone who has.

I see there are now plenty of cases but very few deaths. The 'lockdown' was justified by, and only by, 'preventing the NHS being overwhelmed' Given that the NHS is at no risk of being overwhelmed (the 'Nightingale' hospitals are still ready) and that people are now much better informed as to how the disease is likely to be transmitted, and which groups are at most risk: Is it not time to allow people to make their own choices over this? Or, would we prefer to become a world of zombies, living in irrational perpetual fear of something that's very unlikely to do us much harm?

That’s because a very small amount of people have had covid. I know it exists. I know it can be deadly, but that’s life.

I think you would find that the rich and powerful people are carrying on, living life as they as they always have. Odd isn’t it, that half the cabinet have caught covid?

Although none close to me have had the virus I am aware of people in the Community who've had it and a couple of deaths.. My life will carry on for now as it has over the last few months..itching to wander with the car n dog but in reality she's still tad young..but when I decide to go I will. I do feel tad isolated at times and miss the few people I did visit but one of them Dover and t'other Bonnie Scotland.....

It's called irony/gentle sarcasm - which was obviously lost/wasted on some ... .... no surprise there, then (eta - referring to the post in response to foxy's - STAY HOME, SAVE LIVES, PROTECT THE REST OF US)
