Got 4 pack toilet roll to-day..... only 2 left on shelf(8am).... Still no paracetamol..cannot take Panadol as it contains aspirin. Cleaned the yard, sawed up wood so that can be got rid of..daughter said son in law would collect if I sawed it up.. Trying to work out if I should be sawing wood up....I'm not very good, just as well plasters not on shortages list... Having an afternoon sitting in the sunshine..tis a glorious day.

Positives from yesterday. Sun shone. Ali and me went for a lovely walk, lots of friendly people doing the same, nearly all smiled and exchanged hellos, at a distance. Shopping at Lidl was pleasant, not the usual rush to pack bags, plenty of stock in general. Garden is coming to life, lawns look good. Motorbikes are well polished. Family and friends are doing ok. Daughter a little sad about work, she is working from home. This week she has had to cancel lots of news ranges for the coming months. However, she has enjoyed looking at the autumn fashion ranges being planned. Sons company has this week secured two large orders for its cash counting machines. Plenty enough to tide them over the coming months. On the negative side, I canβt go to boat, I canβt ride motorbikes and canβt go to the pub. This will change in a few weeks or months. I can handle the wait, it will be worth it. Lovely morning today here in the midlands.

Lovely cloudless sky this morning. Swmbo wants to wash some curtains, so I'll have to take them down, gardening to do after that, maybe chainsaw some logs in the sunshine.

It has to be said, the spring is bringing a huge ray of hope into our lives and helping to keep any concerns in perspective. We had to visit town for some essentials yesterday ... it was utterly deserted and looked stunning in the sunshine. We can cross roads, without taking our life in our hands as there are so few cars, and the spring planting is just beginning to look gorgeous. Our 41st anniversary tomorrow so we have to decide ... slap up meal out ... night in a posh restaurant ... or romantic meal in I'll not bother with a poll . Rog
