Quite a good conspiracy that one is.
Hair brained nonsense but quite convincing hair braindeness.

When I was little we lived in a house made of granite. There were some theories granite caused problems.
Then another house we lived in had a high voltage cable under the garden. Theories around high voltage cables.
None of it ever did me any harm.

Come to think about it, I've had lots of exposure to microwave radiation in my job and RF radiation in my hobby....

There is very little evidence to show the effects of microwave radiation on our health, especially at lower energy levels and long term. The frequency and duty cycle is also a factor. Nick may have a view on this. Like Coronavirus, the BBC seem to be following an agenda rather than provide the public with balanced information (truth). What the article does show however is what happens when the truth is clouded by media sensationalism.

Andyberg would be able to comment as he is in the trade except that he's been gagged by Huawei who I assume monitor this webshite.

"Back from 2 weeks work at Huawei in Shenzhen, no flu or cold issues to report anywhere around there. Its possibly a real issue, I mean, 600 dead out of a 1.3 billion population, its a real concern (if you believe the Daily Fail!)"

How true. Why is the government so suddenly concerned about the old folk - after cutting their pensions for years? It doesn't look like the Beckhams or Ed Sheeran or the footballers receiving obscene salaries will be donating any of their wealth to the elderly. I also wonder how Prince Charles got Covid-19 and recovered after just two days. Boris hasn't got it - he's just hiding from all the flack. What a great leader!

Having designed over 1,000 transmission sites and still more dish and antenna installations on building, water towers, high voltage pylons... radiation poisoning from antennas is a real thing, it doesn't have to be high frequency though the higher the frequency the more power is needed. The antenna and steel riggers who work in close proximity arrange prior to have the dangerous ones switched off and wear gadgets to warn them if anything missed. Exposure can lead to flu like symptoms and some quite innocent looking omni directional antennas are among the worst. A microwave dish can render you impotent...close up, but you can safely walk behind them. Line of sight surveys not only for the operation of a microwave link, but to check it's not pointed at somebody's bedroom are normal procedure.
A government white paper dismissed it as a problem if certain antenna siting guidelines were followed, finally allowing mobile phone companies to ride rough-shod over local planners for towers up to 15m - bung a notice up and 30 days later start building. With health related objections dealt with on masse the main objections left could be dismissed as nimbyism. The only successes were where a more suitable site could be proposed by objectors who only had 30 days and whose resources could never match the operator's.
It's all about the diminishing strength of the signal. I had to add another 10m to one tower and shift everything up because a footbridge was being built 50m away. It's a very complex calculation when there are multiple systems at different heights and frequencies all adding to the stew and operators/mast owners tend to play safe...as far as they understand it...which nobody really does IME so they play within the bounds instructed by the government's scientists. You could look at that cynically but actually I don't. It's all about money, yes, but nobody really wants to risk making everybody ill for a few quid when it can be avoided.

I must admit the man who did the video I saw was pretty convincing. I still think it's not the cause of the virus but how would I know ?
It's true that the money will talk. 5G seems to be about increasing automation and surveillance and robotising humans even more than they already have been robotised.
Big money drivers behind doing these things.
Plus of course there is big money in healthcare so it's actually quite handy to make people ill, obviously.

There's a serious side to convincing conspiracy theories...people who tend to worry and take everything seriously now have this extra layer of confusion, tend to spend time researching them and however illogical, the doubt is never fully gone. I could happily bang their heads together.
