The government has also published 43 pages of guidance on operating pubs and restaurants safely. I'm not posting a link, because I'm not capable of supplying the required summary of the content. It includes installing extra bike racks, so that drinkers aren't tempted to use trains … WTF would we do without foxxy relaying all the UK news to those who have already got bored with it and want to move on?
please make use of your dedicated thread and stop pissing us off.

I'm sure lots of pubs and eateries will remain closed ... I'm equally sure many customers will prefer to 'stay safe' and stay at home.
For my part, I'll keep the distances when I can, wash my hands constantly, wear a face cover on public transport, and take my chances ... if I stick to my common sense precautions what others do is their business.

I have to say I'm relieved... 1 metre (plus) is dooable on Ellis... so in theory folks can come along now... trouble is, a lot will have been brainwashed into thinking the minute they get closer to ME, I'll infect them and they'll die!
I've got silly masks, hand santiser, ALWAYS clean the boat with zoflora between guests anyway and can take my own and others temperature every 20 mins if desired... folks are at less risk from me than being in the queue at morrisons

Drink cycling puts the individual on the bike at risk. This is, if true, completely negligent and quite dangerous. Nonsense! It's a well known fact that riding something with two wheels (particularly with an engine attached) when loaded up with beer makes you an absolute God who can ride the wheels of anyone or anything. Your two wheel stead handles better, stops quicker, it seems to have gained the roadholding abilities of a limpet, you're a better rider than Valentino Rossi and Chris Frome combined. Sadly Your talent and skill becomes inversely proportional to the amount consumed. The only trouble is your brain doesn't realise this. Motorcycling pissed is a very hazardous pastime, cycling pissed has the advantage that speeds are lower. Still a fairly hazardous pastime though. That said, didn't mouse fancy being done for being drunk in charge of a bicycle? Legend has it His old village GP had the dubious honour of being done for drunk in charge of a horse! The IoM Constabulary would have been quite cross with us in the mid - late '90s! As for other charges, drunk in charge of a push bike is an honourable one alongside that of knocking a coopers hat off to get done for being drunk and disorderly. The copper in Rushden High St I suggested I do that to just told me to " Piss off"! Both good Drs (Husband and Wife team) were indeed charged with drunk in charge of a (an?)horse. It took a lot of getting the horse out of the ditch she rode it into.

On the other I found myself briefly speculating as to how you take peoples temperatures - and I'm not sure if that's OK and funny or I should refer myself for a Diversity refresher course.

It's like baked jam roll me old Mum used to make ... only a savoury version. We were thinking you could put whatever fillings you like in ... go wild and experiment ... we're going to try it for sure. Of course we should have expected it was puff pastry Rog

Rog nearly - a bit too much cheese but I'll know for next time,... the veggie version is gonna be goats cheese and leak. eta - the sudocream is for the horsefly bites NOT the roulade Almost tempted to have a go at the veggie option.... however still no workable oven no puff pastry no leeks so it'll be a cheese sandwich instead On the oven side of things, sons was delivered yesterday and we thought we could have a go at fitting it in the van...however..some pi....k had packed it without adequate protection and some other p.....k had possibly played catch with it...whatever I have never seen any item come that damaged before. They'd 'disguised' external appearance that all may not be right within by bandaging the box onto a pallet. This means I have another oven in the house to be collected and one to be fitted and one to be ditched... Apparently on Friday yet another will arrive and at some time they will arrange for collection of the broken one.... On a plus, grandson coming for overnight stay and no doubt will see these large boxes as mountains to climb..who needs toys?

I can't think of anything Boris has done at all since he became PM - just acting out Cummings' orders. I saw he made a Telly-Vision speech... and, er, when he was Mayor of London he got some very ugly buses on the scene. I, on the other hand, Get Things Done - trailer washed, firewood chainsawed and neatly stacked, curry pizza in the oven (not bought in the shop but made by me). You really EAT that?!! No wonder you post as you do ..... Shit goes in, shit come out....
