Nope.... but our coupon (12 squares) is valid for next Saturday and Saturday 22nd.... perhaps you should get a job as a crane driver, they seem to be raking it in!

I'll check our Lotto now, and will send some your way if we have won.... feel free to send some even if you haven't :-) I can't deny I am finding it very stressful - mainly because I'm a bit (read lot) of a control freak and all this depending on other folk, does my box in - no one ever seems to reply to emails and I don't like to keep phoning them... boating seems to be the only business world where the "customer" doesn't appear at all important .... MAYBE everyone is 'gingerist!'

Its typical boating stuff.....they say they will do it, and it gets put on the list and gets done eventually......nothing is ever done with any urgency, unless its sinking

It's coming on well. I like the portholes. the one near the rear hatch might be a bit of a mistake - position wise... if you look, you can see where the run off from the roof is passing awfully close... I'll have to be very careful trimming the ballast to try and keep it an inch or so away - and make darn sure to to apply plenty of sealant around that liner. You'd have thought the chap cutting them (admittedly to my plan) might have thought to sneak it an inch or so to the right.

Hi Quaysider. Not long now. We were down at Stanley today on the visitor moorings and went for a walk down the towpath. Is your mooring in the gap behind the Huge boat? I have a video from the previous owner of ours being craned in when it was first launched at Stanley Ferry. Hope you get your craning dilemma sorted soon.

If so, we walked past about 8.30... me in a bright red jacket! No - I originally thought we were behind the big un, but we're opposite the big un - between a yellow wide beam and green narrow with a pram... or otherwise known as the space in which Mick and Claire have spread out into lol. I've warned them we'll move them in if they're out when we arrive. I THINK the crane is sorted - today I made a decision that we'll take the boat on the 27th ready or not! I've booked the transport and tomorrow will confirm with ED we'll tag on to the shared lift (and pay our 400 quid share) whatever the outcome is... Fingers crossed he can sort HIS end out now.

I think I saw you. We were moored on the last space next to the footbridge. I was sorting the stove out when you walked past. Was Andy wearing a green jacket? We headed out for a walk after that then back to our mooring at Altofts for lunchtime. I have posted a link to a YouTube video of our bot being craned in at Stanley when it was new. Ours is 57ft so you will know what to expect. If you come down our way you will have to nip in for a cuppa and see our work in progress.

This is exciting! It's better than awaiting the birth of a Royal baby, methinks! I haven't followed the whole story - will you be cruising the canals? I don't even know if you have boating experience...

My heart is now TOTALLY in my mouth watching that... like I wasn't stressed enough already lol We tried to get a mooring at fairies hill from Chris back in December... just missing out. Were you ok on Boxing day above the old lock? - apparently it got a bit hairy in the branch below.
