Sadly Ross has been constantly only quoting a small part of a post. Or even completely changing the post to fit his agenda. I've told him to stop talking to me. So I'm trying it in simple words because asking nicely does not work. I tried for months being polite. He has been very offensive to me. This one I said there was not a massive issue but explained away the problems the industry are facing. I work in food logistics and report accurately what is happening at the time. Perhaps you could ask him where the photos are from? I see, as you know i'm new here so I don't know much forum history but thanks for the post. I've always liked Ross and have always stood up for him when he's not been behaving. However once he accused me of not having any life affecting disabilities other than being slightly overweight, I have had no time for him.

Well, not that much.

To buy or not to be, that is the question.

I have some completely transparent hairs which I find slightly concerning.

Fair play to the Government, they do seem determined to move away from the cheap eastern European labour model started by Blair and still so beloved by the Labour Party. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-58364308We don't need work visas for eastern Europeans. All we need are pay rises and the 150,000 British HGV licence holders who don't drive trucks to decide it's a worthwhile thing to do after all.

Its jobs... and if the pay is right hopefully home grown workers will go for them. Not everyone destined to be a jobless university graduate..

Problem is people have set up businesses or have modelled their business on cheap labour, now they are screwed as they can’t afford pay the wages needed to bring the workers in.
Place I work has relied on Eastern Europe workers for years, half of them buggered off after brexit and less are coming over due to the hassle, those that are left are being snapped up by agencies sending them into Amazon, they have three huge places now within 20 miles of us, we can’t get any workers in except young English kids or Africans, both being equally shit at manual work, they question and argue everything you tell them to do.
I fear we have a few grim years ahead of us, look at the shortages we are seeing and the lack of staff for hospitality, it’s ok though as we out of Europe.

He's been here ages but recently deleted his profile, had a break then reappeared with a different name.
I've deleted my profile 5 times since starting on the forum, mainly to keep the post count down and anonymise previous input.
