'They'(dunno who 'they' are) say "If you tell a lie oft enough its becomes the truth".... Its certainly something that certain people in my life regarded as a mantra to adhere to Lying is apparently normal...eldest son tells me 'Everyone lies' Sad reflection on society today that it seems to be the accepted norm.
Far better to disengage with most folk and walk your own path. A counsellor once told me that the only person u can truly rely on is self... though guess some folks must lie to themselves in lying to others and sticking by those facts they've misrepresented. It's a cynical world. This is all too deep for me.

Sorry to get back on topic but just filled up at Fazeley Mill. 74p/litre which is pretty good these days. However now I look at the receipt, I think Ruth forgot to apply our 10% moorerβs discount. Iβll go back to the office tomorrow and check, cause I had over 100 litres so that 10% is going to make a difference!

90p a litre at Stretford Marina today for 100 ltr, happy with a 0% declaration! Highly recommended place, very helpful!π Jean is my guilty pleasure - she's fab. To use crude blokey speak (but with modifications cause I'm refined) she's got a crackin rack on her ... certainly for a 60 year old. Agreed, fabulous breastickles to match her fabulous attitude.π

I checked, 74p is the moorerβs price so the visitorβs price would be Β£0.82 which is still pretty good these days.

And there has been 7+ years of inflation since then.

And I was like "hell's teeth why did I not buy oil futures when the covid bollocks was doing it's thing".
Talk about missed tricks.
Isn't it
