Someone tried to read your so called correction and could not understand it and gave up, yet they read and enjoy the two pages that came before and learnt a little and felt good about themselves and excited about the chance to learn a little about electricity. So why did you have the thread (and two others) deleted? Why deprive that person ftom feeling good about themselves? Could it be because you have the maturity of a 7 year old schoolchild? <---of indeterminate sex

Just for the benefit of Gibbo and TB who missed it, quite a bit (most, in fact) of graham's offering was quite good for the target audience. Unfortunately when he came to explain the different phases of charging, Bulk was when the battery was taking the maximum current it could possibly take based on the battery chemistry etc. In other words, in bulk it was the battery that determined the current. In absorption it was ... well not quite sure, it didn't really make sense. Float was OK though. When I tried to summarise the difference between bulk and absorption being that in bulk, current was limited by the charger and in absorption it was limited by the battery. He threw a big strop and decided he would threaten to sue me for something else, demand that I took stuff down from CWDF that I hadn't even posted in some cases, by sending me a takedown notice by PM and threatening to sue me under the defamation act 2013 for summarising what he had said on open forum on here (public domain) in a single line of text on CWDF. I think he then realised he was looking a bit silly so persuaded D9 to remove the 3 relevant threads to hide the evidence, which was a shame. Now you see the target audience understood exactly what I was trying to put across but you in your purist tower you could not. Interesting that the target audience could not understand your correction and gave up reading it, it made no sense to them. If you had read my posts about the deletion you would know exactly why they were removed and I did not feel in the slightest bit silly or anything like that. I still think it was the correct decision no regrets at all. As for what you have posted on CW it is inaccurate and incorrectly interpreted. You have taken information and twisted it for your own purposes.

The target has a copy of the post and I believe has even read it since the deletion, I asked her to take a copy. Oh that is good lol No fortunately my sex is well defined lol My maturity is I suspect better than yours otherwise you would know when to go away. lol

Yep blast the house out when I want speech on the TV, everything above 1 kHz gone, blame KBC & the BBC. Mind you it is nice with cop car sirens can't hear those lol Kettering Borough Council? It's noisy noisy machinery, hommerin and grinding with no ear protection that's done for my pin sharp hearing. Upside is I can't hear Mrs Gazza nagging so much. Kenya Broadcasting Corporation I like my warmth and free air to fly in

An 'Ageist' writes: I think the insults to graham are a bit mean. But it often seems that wolves hunt in packs, and, this afternoon, skimming through Canalworld it does seem that boaters (and ex-boaters) like to make Mountains out of Molehills. graham - when you feel flustered by comments on here, have a sit in your comfy chair and have a nice cup of tea and watch something nice on TV (with subtitles?). Your batteries thread was going fine - how on Earth are they gonna charge if you keep pulling the plug?! Imperfect technical details can be corrected, and remember, those that make the corrections are being monitored by us all.
As for talk about being sued for giving incorrect technical advice on here - pah! What if I say "Good Morning!" to someone and it's raining and they don't like rain - I expect they'll be taking me to the cleaners too, eh?!

Foxy, I did and I gentle tried to put the point over and the reasoning but it was ignored You are lucky, by English law as a professional in a field if I give information or advice that leads to damage, injury or death whether the information or advice was given free or paid for I am responsible no matter how or why the information or advice was given and can end up in court. That is why I never give verbal information or advice only written, the forum counts as written, and why frequently I will go and deal with the problem myself rather that let someone interpret advice and get hurt. Cos it could be me that pays. That is why my Indemnity Policy is still current. It has never paid out and covers me for, I think, 5 million. If I tell someone the sun will shine tomorrow and it rains I am safe like you not my field of expertise
