Stabby is about as likely to shut up as you. No scratch that, you could not shut up for England (except deluded obsessive mentalist isn't an Olympic sport as of yet).

So where's your boat then? I tried to help you mate, I told you your boat would be towed away if you didn't sit down in a dark and quiet place and give your head a wobble, if you wouldn't listen then that's your problem. Your boat was moored unlawfully, it got towed. End of story. Either shut up, . . or provide a reasoned argument as to how a fait accompli legitimizes an irreparably unlawful act. It is only unlawful if someone gets around to putting it before a court. I'm not sure if you are aware of the way that things work? Let's just say "crime pays" and there are immeasurably large numbers of people who benefit from illegal acts. All of my money comes from a hijacked pension scheme in a large international company that was wound up in the late 80s. These things happen. Get a good legal type person onto it or deal with it.

Lawyers, specious but clever and possibly even sound legal arguments and the highly unlikely possibility of another court session are not what's going on here. Instead we are providing a valuable service to Dunkers by giving him an opportunity to vent spleen. Without it I expect he would be in the news for attacking somebody at the supermarket.

Because it isn't unlawful, except in your demented imagination. That's why someone else owns Halcyon Daze now and you'll never get it back. But you carry on mate, it's no skin off my nose. I tried to help you but if you were too thick to listen then that's your lookout.

Rubbish, . . an unlawful act is something that does, and can be shown to, contravene current common or statute law.

Well, possession is nine-tenths of the law, as they say. The simple fact is that you used to have a narrowboat called Halcyon Daze and now you don't.

Saw a small aluminium workboat pootle up the cut this morning, returned later pushing a narrowboat. Whole crew including several dibble by the lock. I scanned the skies for superdunk the caped crusader winging in to save the day, but he was a no show. The big lad doesn’t look happy your taking photos, good job your on the other side of the lock. Ps I understand that the ex boat owners drug of choice is spice not that it makes a lot of difference.

Tony must be kicking himself, if only he’d not been so tight and got a safety cert. It could have been done as a project boat at a reduced rate, it would have been the best £100 he’d ever spent. But then tightness combined with bloody mindedness is his downfall.

Surely you could get it to five or fewer. 3 would work.
1 to helm the boat, a hard man to do the physical work and for protection and a manager to have a boat ride.
15 is too many !!
ETA let's just say 2 !!

But then tightness combined with bloody mindedness is his downfall. To be fair, it was never about the money or even the value of the boat, which Tony could clearly afford to lose. Surely even you have to admit he stood by his convictions. But then again, so did Mr. Kaczynski.
