Ive Dodged a bullet there faffer - I'm not all that keen on Seamasters - particularly the centre cockpit 30. The fact it's on shafts is nowhere near enough to tempt me - Perkys or not 🤫

What a lovely boat and a pair of Gardners as well. However the power units sound a little bit worse for wear it does not seem to be clear if they are usable. Its super would make a nice Thames boat Some unusual and quite pleasing little details ![](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/w~oAAOSwUvFcgR-e/s-l300.jpg)

Is the # 10 of your fleet, or are you still hesitating ? Peter.

A bargain, it's too bad that the powerful beast is still a 2stroke, but with everything that's included in the sale, it's still dirt cheap and would make a good # 11 ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Peter.

As it happens I decided to dump boat number 9 behind an island on the Thames. The blue kayak. It seemed to be a case of too many boats. This was a couple of weeks ago. I deliberately sank it and tied it to a bush. It floated a little bit upside down.
A week went by and I felt very sad so I went back up to see if it was still there and it was so I bailed it out and have it on the yot again.
Phew that was close ! I was worrying about it all week.
Does need some small repair work and I was surprised to notice it is covered in little "go faster" osmosis bubbles on the top and the bottom halves so I now think it must have been in the river for a long time.
Am intending to do an electric conversion on it. The boat is named Blue Streak.

Great
"An Italian satellite with Belgian and Dutch insolence"
(1:20) Gotta love automatic subtitles!
As for the name the kayak has it written with stickers already its not my choice of name.
It is quite cool though and all the more reason to convert it yto a fast electric boat.which is doable.

Should be a good buy if you're going to work this boat and have a contract for it already. I don't think that it would make a good houseboat, as the biggest room on board is already occupied by the engine. If you want to run it as a pleasure boat you have to have pretty deep pockets to pay for liquid feed for the thirsty engine. Engine had 1piston replaced, what would the cylinder/liner look like, why was one piston replaced ? Peter.

I agree with what your saying oeter. It's a nice looking boat for reasonable money if all the work they say has been done. I think if I was to buy it. I think I'd put a smaller engine in it. To gain a bit of room and make it more economical. But tugs aren't the most practical livaboards.

Replacing the engine with a much smaller less thirsty one would be a good step in the right direction if the boat isn't going to be used commercially. One thing that will be less easy to change is it's draft, so definitely no good for many of the canals that lack in decent dredging. Peter.
