I I sort of guessed you'd confused the delicate snowdrop with Leucojum - easily done - and the latter are far more showy, to be fair.

Tower Hamlets cemetery park a bloke who was doing the tour mentioned the summer snowflakes and I was like "Loddon innit" I think he checked afterwards..

They are. If I am still alive in the spring I will be planting seeds again. I did manage to get the Mina Lobata going last year which is a bindweed but with very unexpected flowers. The morning glory never flowers at all. Also managed to get black eyed Susan and canary creeper flowering. For some reason I really like climbers. Oh and there were a few lathyrus ordoratus which came up nicely from seed. This was from seeds put into black builders buckets from Wickes with compost in them. . Other things happened.

I do grow edibles on the roof but ... eta - try solanum glasnevin as a perennial climber on your mooring.

It's clear that none of the gutless invertebrates who slunk off to TheUnstableBar are ever going to do anything to that end, . . I'm not entirely convinced that invertebrates actually can "slink", since slinking requires movement to be carried out in a particular fashion, generally in a stealthy or sensuous manner and invertebrates tend not to employ diverse means of locomotion.
