Possibly a viscount? Long bonnet looks like a six in there. Na, the viscount was the newer shape, I had one.

My niece is getting wed to Scott the Scot in a year or so, I'm pressing for National Dress, trad style with the wind blowing through obviously. I'll happily post a pic if it happens. You're from Rochdale for gods sake. Entirely excusable for our northern brothers, but do get a grip. Rog Roger, Roger, just because your knees frighten the horses... Some of us have shapely legs and are happy to show them off.

I suppose back in the one could say 'we are going for a pint at the swan at Fradley'. Now you would have to say 'we are going for a pint at the the swan at Fradley' for some reason a superfluous 'the' has crept in. I'm from Yorkshire. I'd be going for a pint to't Swan Rog Have you got someone else to pay for it then?

Thanks for that ... not really into musicals. Black Swan at Sheffield was called the Mucky Duck for more prosaic reasons ... that and the lunchtime strippers. Rog The Danny Kaye song was played a lot outside of the musical. Probably before your time. But of course the origin was the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale. Surely the pub would be called the Ugly Duckling if that's the connection , not the Mucky Duck ? Rog

Isn't it combat style for men and in commando for women? I’m sure the new self appointed forum expert in everything will tell us.
