Time to ‘do your duty’ 😂👍 Surely the King will issue you a Royal Pardon for all the past undercover Secret Service / Mi6 work you've completed? Well actually old Charlie is not that happy with me or my team as we were involved in the "Lady Die" car 'accident' investigations and we almost uncovered the fact that he and his father sorted it all out with the help of a doctor. Of course this was all hushed up and we were paid quite a lot of money to keep schtum and given new identities. In the end they still know who and where we are and for this reason it is unlikely I would be rewarded by the current monarch for services to his government were I to stick my head above the parapets. I think there is a price on my head.

Yep, can't argue with that, but he's good at making starmer and reeves look complete idiots. Hunt the cxnt was doing the same, albeit with even more success. I suppose we won’t know until the next GE who the majority believe. I should be a Tory voter given my circumstances, but I just can’t stand them. Big problem is...I can't stand any of them !🤦🏻♀️

Isn't it peculiar that all the folks who were staunch Tories this time about three or so years ago are now politically cynical dissident types?

What does drive them otherwise? Answers on a postcard...

I read a sentence in a news report yesterday I found interesting.
The minister was describing that employment focus should be on what a person CAN do rather than can't , and that we are in danger of creating a generation that 'medicalises life experience'.
The clear suggestion appeared to be 'we all have our problems ... get a grip and get on with it.'
Perhaps a 21st century version of 'get on yer bike' maybe ?

Apparently the annual bill for sickness payments is £60 billion. A staggering sum. It's predicted to double by 2030.

I finally got put through to the Neurology Debt yersterday to enquire when I might get an appointment to try to deal with my vertigo - told it might not be until Oct or Nov, that will make it a year since my first attack/collapse - perhaps if the Cons sorted out the NHS the number of people 'on the sick' would reduce...

Apparently it is about helping people into work. I have no problem with that as long as it's a GP that says whether they are fit to work or not. Not some ex traffic warden with a script and boxes to tick.
