Sadly not now a boater so visits to this web site are less frequent. I was surprised to find a major stoppage detailed on another place but no mention on Thunderboat. It was much later that I found mention in a thread about kicking CRT. Why did not anyone give a cross reference in the stoppages section? -
Are thunderboate'rs not interested in keeping their site up to date and giving advice to others about a major problem on the canals? I thought when Thunderboat was created that we wanted to get away from the other place but the only reference to this important stoppage is elsewhere. Don't we have some mods who should be concerned about this site growing by picking up on this.

I think as most of us are boaters on thunderboat, we know about the breech. It would be like discussing whether the canal water is wet, or Harecastle tunnel is low But of course, you are free to say anything you like about the breech, C&RT or the rest of us. That's why this place is special. Rog

I couldn't find it straight away, but then found it. And that's a shame why?

And then creates a thread about it, but still doesn't put it in the stoppages section.
Shame!

It's a shame those on the back row can't keep up. Not even on the back row, but a truant no less. Bless! Thunderboat is the font of all wisdom.

Don't we have some mods who should be concerned about this site growing by picking up on this. No, there aren't any moderators on this site. There's nothing to stop any individual member starting a thread about it, should he so wish.

There has been loads of discussion on it but I suppose being a sad git who reads almost everything (apart from the nb Ellis bollock blog) I would be aware of it.
As far as stoppages go I personally tend to use CRT stoppages web page for that although word of mouth from boaters may be better.
Its a fair point but would putting info in the stoppages section really make a difference to-contributing- membership?

No mods on here..its the land of freeish speech ... As to info ref stoppages it sometimes just gets chucked into random threads....it's how things work here..as has bin mentioned those who need to know appear to know.. Give this place a chance..we r all nearly normal with few exceptions.... Welcome

Sometimes a question grammatically formed as a statement has more impact?
