Oh look joy of joys my very own internet troll has poked its nose out from under its bridge again. The only ruptured duck is you Tony, remind me what state your one remaining boat is in ? I’ll say again you have never been on my boat when it’s under way, you have been on the back deck once. When you gave me erroneous advice on setting the timing deliberately so the engine would run rough and smoke badly. This was soon rectified. Your a very unpleasant person Tony. If you believe the bottom of my boat is in such a poor state, then why did you spend all that time ordering me to run it aground at Barton island? Let’s be honest, you where hoping my boat would be holed. Causing a blockage of the Trent and a major incident, just to further your personal vendetta with cart. Without any consideration for me or my home or the welfare of A41. That’s how much you care for old boats. Anyway you’ve had enough of my attention you nasty old twat. Ps How many other people did you sublet your one mooring at Barton to? Shame cart came along and ruined your pension plan.

. . . . . . If you believe the bottom of my boat is in such a poor state, then why did you spend all that time ordering me to run it aground at Barton island? The wording of your ill-considered post makes it very plain that despite all the denials and garbage you post on here, you are in fact very well aware of the truth about just how thin and weak A41's hull is. Would you like me to re-post the e-mail you drafted to C&RT, and the photos you took, when you were so concerned over the probability of severe damage to A41's bottom plating after you ran it up onto the submerged concrete craneboat weight blocks that had been put in place, and clearly marked, as a temporary means of stabilizing the collapsing Larssen piling along the bank edge of the Aire & Calder near Heck ?

It’s probably a legal grey area as Tony operates well in those. What definately is illegal is not declaring the not insubstantial earnings to HMRC. Or DWP.

Glad to hear she sounded good I've just taken her from Kingston to Abingdon and back with many different stops on the way, next trip will be up the Grand union She's a big girl but a pleasure to drive Great boat. I was the geyser in the yellow electric canoe at Bourne End. Raffia hat. Also noticed you round the back of the island at Cliveden later that afternoon. Cool to see it being used. Good luck with the ongoing maintenance and care of A39. I remember coming past you What a beautiful spot in Cliveden, not easy to get her round that island but well worth it. She gets used properly, since been back I've moved two boats with her, might not be carrying coal but still a true work boat.

Small request when you venture onto the Grand Union for information on a Sister Boat to A 39 which was in the Uxbridge area. General opinion is that this L & L Short Boat could be A 38. As you may be aware on your boat the Letter and Number's of this fleet had identification stamped in the steel work on either side of the bows and also on the Port Side stern end, Additionly there was a Yarwood's identification stamped across the top of the stern behind the tiller arm below the top 'D' strake. On A 39 this number is 162379. Hope they are still visible. On the A 38 the number is 162378. you will have to get close to these areas of the boats to i.d. them. Best wishes for you future trips. You've got me looking round the Hull for numbers, hopefully still there. When I come up the union I will keep a look out and hopefully get some pics of them together again.

If you genuinely believe what you've published in the above post, you must pass on any such information, together with any substantiating evidence you have, to HM Revenue & Customs and the DWP. Having, on more than one occasion, publicly stated his intention to report me to HMRC for undeclared earnings last year, you'll find that this forum's very own Mr Shit-for-Brains, Vince Coventon, is probably your best source of help and guidance about how to go about doing this. If, on the other hand, you don't genuinely believe what you have written to be true and cannot substantiate what you've published, then you must apologize unreservedly and publicly withdraw your malicious remarks.

She is moored adjacent to Cowley Lake on the fore side. When I did a trip on the A 40 from Brigg to Blackburn for an Historic Rally strangely the Engine House originally had the wrong brass plate it should have been on the A 39. Hope you can locate your i.d. numbèrs and solve the number of the boat on the Grand Union.

Beer festival, bands playing & old POS boats mean I know where I’m mooring for the weekend.👍

Yes at Crooke Hall, all weekend. Beer tent, live music and odd black faced weirdos doing some strangely camp sort of dancing!🙄 I thought there were ‘woke friendly’ laws against this sort of thing?
