I like those mechanical augers used for erecting lamp posts and telegraph poles but I'm not that skinny!

Maybe you could dispose of the bodies in the big holes you will bi digging to get rid of the knot weed. my kids are threatening to have a knotweed casket made for me....I'm telling them I'll be the wind in their window panes if they do..by the way have not read all the thread so if this is out of kilter with all other comments it'll mean..... once again not quite got this right seems I'm ok....having just scrolled through... By the byes I want lots of flowers but no plastic around them..love flowers...

I used to have to shovel corn in a grain bin into rather old fashioned auger..really scary as the corn would just move dragging u down..always made sure the ladder next to me....its awful stuff and so glad those days over

Going back to funerals-my dad died Sept 1993,my mum died Nov 1993 & my only brother died May 1994.The local funeral parlour really did give me some very strange looks...Seriously,not a great time when your whole immediate family dies.😦

My ex sister in law buried her husband(he died of cancer) in their garden some 20 years ago and now cannot move cos he's there...

Sounds a bit like the japanese knotweed problem.
I imagine she could move if she found a cash buyer but I guess the property value would take a hit.

My ex sister in law buried her husband(he died of cancer) in their garden some 20 years ago and now cannot move cos he's there... That's sad. She could have him officially moved now though - bury him to the next garden maybe. Cremation is more convenient if you don't want to let go.

My wife's ashes got scattered where we shared our first kiss, it was in a very inaccessible location. I know if I told other climbers that I scattered her ashes there I'd be severely criticised for doing so. That is life and the location will remain secret to all that don't need to know.
The location of the ashes was the only thing I refused to compromise on.
