So 10 people can now effectively shape the future of all the British people. Tiny minority rule over the massive majority. Now that sounds familiar! Our political system is unfit for purpose and needs a complete revamp. Any ideas? What about putting CRT in charge ?

an analysis on BBC this morning showed the Tories with 44% of the vote, the best since Maggie Thatcher who had 45% when she won 397 seats, and better than the 2015 election. the spread of the vote has changed such that 44% does not now guarantee a working majority. I'd say a large factor in that is that the majority of those who voted UKIP in 2015 voted Labour this time around.

May will now have to shout, after every speech, "Fuck the Pope and the Fenian bastards"

Well I've spent a hmmm .... day wandering around the err hub of 'where its all going on'... following I would like to say a rather nice brunch of lobster Benedict with glass champagne...well thats what I'd like to say cept it wasn't all that nice(should have had cheese sarnie) anyway to continue...first stop Downing St where I see an amazing caricature head of May carrying funeral type flowers..good ole British sense of humour...I note a large police presence and reflect that the cutbacks are obviously not designed to affect the safety of the 'greats'....I then wander down to Houses of Parliament where I hear a guide telling tourists about the local attraction.....strange how soon terrorist atrocity becomes must see tourist attraction...continuing on I listen in to an interview with veterans who had much to say about Corbyn...none of it good...I hear the words traitor levied regarding his policies over past Irish issues......I then decide to check out Liz Battenburgs digs...and note distinct lack of tourists..... soon..so soon..escaping this rubbish ridden dump...

Whilst in NI we never had any problems with the UVF etc so as you can understand it bothers me not that Mrs May has an informal agreement with DUP now, after all they are an official political party and consider themselves part of the UK, unlike the IRA/sinn fein who want the NI population to give in and become part of Ireland. Now under the Good Friday agreement this can happen as long as everyone votes for it............which has a snowballs chance in hell of happening

Specifically, the terrorist group Ulster Resistance, founded by a collection of people who went on to be prominent DUP politicians. Peter Robinson, for example, who was DUP leader and Northern Irelandβs first minister until last year, was an active member of Ulster Resistance. The groupβs activities included collaborating with other terrorist groups including the Ulster Volunteer Force, to smuggle arms into the UK, such as RPG rocket launchers.
