The protests today are turning a bit lively. It's going to be a hot weekend, the country is divided, particularly London. People are starting to get angry.

The irony here is that Lily Allen vocally supports exactly the immigration policy which forced people to be crammed into dangerous monstrosities like Grenfell Tower in the first place. When she's done her bit of self-promotion for the day, it will be interesting to see how many of them she invites back to her place to doss on the floor. I'm surprised how people could afford to live there, rented or owned. Are you sure it's crammed full of 'immigrants'? Maybe many of them are people who sold thier local homes to release capital and moved into the tower. Actually I'm not sure if the demographics of the tower is public information. You're right about the practice before you preach bit though. Do you know what charitable work she has been involved with? The first victim of the horrific Grenfell fire has been named as Mohammed Alhajali β a Syrian refugee who came to Britain to seek a βbetter lifeβ. - www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/grenfell-tower-fire-first-victim-named-mohammed-alhajali-syrian-refugee-a7791401.htmlI believe the last time I saw Lily Allen in the media, she was in Calais, desperately trying to kick-start her flagging career help Syrian refugees to obtain a "better life" in Grenfell Tower.

Is there any problem in this country that Mr Stabby won't try to blame on immigrants? Puerile beyond words. I deeply regret the human tragedy which has been played out here, you and your fellow travellers fully support it and encourage it. Why don't you kill yourself, you sick cunt?

I think the demographic is wrong for a riot. North Ken is somewhat different to Tottenham and Brixton. Its an interesting prediction and I suppose if the social networks get all hey up it could be on the cards but I don't think it will happen, personally.

Yes, this is true, first generation immigrants generally keep quiet, it's the second generation who cause the problems, and it's been the same for as long as I can remember. By the third generation they have normally settled down a bit.

If a riot happens it will not be because of the local residents in Kensington. None of the problems are to do with immigration.

D9 neither minced his words nor pulled his punches in this case. Talking to yourself is a sign of madness.

I take it you missed the other report about why he chose to study civil engineering?

Going back to current affairs Sky are showing a photo of a -62 plate rangerover which is supposed to contain the Prime Minister.
Is this the best we can do for a head of state? I would have thought a Bentley would have been more appropriate or does one have a selection of vehicles. Maybe its armoured?

It's looking that way, and the reports I see doesn't exactly show the media trying to calm things down, if it kicks off elements of the media will need to take some blame.

I'll take issue with that When there is vastly over subscribed demand for limited resources simultaneous with high levels of immigration then of course it is a problem. Ignoring that fact is what has got us into the mess we are in
