Since retiring, I do most of the ironing and washing up. I quite like both jobs. A bit like mowing a lawn, there is an instant impact which is satisfying. Mind you if there are lots of pleats and frills, the master has to take over. I'm at my best with flat and square Rog ETA Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Gazza

I'm human again. My phone is fixed, new screen and case, updated with android 8. Fine bruise on arm and belly from the windlass whacking me and the phone. Fitted my solar panel and controller yesterday, a stick down walk on grp 130w one. I'm thinking I might get an inverter, got 450ah batteries. Nick you posted a link to your pure sine wave inverter, thought it was in this thread but no. Could you post it again thanks. Next thing to consider is fitting my Airx 400 wind Genny for winter.

I'm sure ironing is a task that can be done just as well by man or woman.... Yes, that's very true. The problem in our house is we both hate doing it! My nan used to love ironing, she reckoned turning a crumpled pile of Laundry into a pile of crisp crease free clothes was very therapeutic - I still can't see that and she's been dead 8 years so I can't ask her why. It was our wedding anniversary yesterday, we went out for a nice meal at the Tap and Kitchen in Oundle, I thought I had best make an effort and get rid of the crumpled crisp packet look We rarely do ironing. If you hang the cloths carefully they dry without creases.

I don't know whether it is suitable to have an NE bond or not. Cheap and cheerful, but so far it's worked ok.

Its on the site of Oundle Wharf on Station Road. HQ of Nene Valley Brewery, a posh bakery and a big AGA showroom, I should think their target audience are close to hand with the way the town has changed over the last 20-25 years.

Vegetable slicer? We call them a knife Rog Yeh. This thread has made me realise we ain't gonna get all that crap on a narrowboat. I did replace the amp hungry Hoover though for one of those Dyson rechargeable things.

I think your boat is even bigger than our house.
You'll need a motor and butty if you ever go back to a muddy ditch tube.
