You can have this strimmer if you need one. I've only used it once. It's only about a year old. Electric, but quite large. I can drop it somewhere near London. Thanks..r u sure?..guess it could make life tad easier.....I do go up to London when son needs childcare and also up to the Midlands...stuck here ATM as waiting for some work to be done and have childminding duties beckoning for the other 2..schools r back...I'll let u know when Im wandering around again and if can sort out picking up that'd be great..if not no probs... Patty? if you don't mind me asking? I what general area are you? I will be in London a few times yet this year. if not my friend works there Monday to Friday so could be in a position to help.

When I come to London I'm based Farringdon area but wander towpaths during the days..grand daughter is in nursery full time and once I drop her off the days are mine...I usually try to book writing courses for some of the time to keep brain in gear....son likes me to errr make he most of my trips to the big smoke...I think he's not keen on my idle wandering around the city!..

I'll be heading towards London over the winter. Just let me know where to leave it. 😊 Ok ..let me know when u start heading to London and I'll try and work summit out...thank you very much... Better to do it in winter, the summit is more likely to have water in it.

I can keep the strimmer in on one of my boats if its any good for patty. She knows where I am as once took a picture of my organic coot farm I do have tea and there is a shop nearby so biscuits are attainable. I wonder if one is allowed to carry a strimmer on public transport? If a car is involved I do have visitor parking available.

Thanks MM...I can disguise the strimmer as Guy Fawkes or a Scarecrow...wonder if I'd then have to pay extra on London Transport?...actually Id walk it back to sons.... I came across your boat having walked from Farringdon down to the Tower and along the waters edge to Limehouse diverting to see the boats at hmm cannot remember but there was some awfully expensive cars there as well, then towpath trail back up past Victoria Park to the Angel then down to sons...

That's an option then? yeah that sounds brilliant idea thanks..if MM is sure..I know where his boat is and have now 2-3 cert trips to big smoke as daughter in law seems to need some help in winter months....so when ever ..I can always re-organise what I do...I try never to set stuff in stone though obviously sometimes where son is concerned have to.

And you said you were also going to feed me. Yes patty I can accommodate the article in the engine hole as no trips planned on the barge this year.
I may pass you (jenlyn) before that on my launch as am planning a run to Marsworth ish in half term.
