I see a bear attack is at No20...
Has anyone here suffered a bear attack and can confirm its placing is correct?

I got stung by a jellyfish on my balls. What on earth were your balls doing in the vicinity of a jellyfish?

Just read the list and no.1 is "emotional pain". I thought it was about physical pain. Emotional pain is a whole nother story !!
I have occasionally been stalked by the black dog but it has never quite walked beside me, thankfully. Been close though.

I had seven blood clots, of which one went from behind my knee to just under my lung. The pain was something I hope I never have to put up with again.

migraines when I was younger.
at the age of 36 - infectious shock that occurred while I was lying in bed in hospital awaiting an operation after I had been shot in the chest; one minute I was chatting to the doctor as my wife waited at his side - the next moment I was screaming with pain. I was sedated within a couple of minutes and didn't remember anything more until 8 hours later in the recovery room.

The worst pain I've ever experienced (and ever want to experience ) was having a fall from height at work. My right shoulder exited through the skin, I suffered a flail chest, a double puncture of my right lung, a broken vertebrae in my neck and all the ribs on my right side were smashed into several pieces..... The pain was so bad I can't even begin to describe it, but it was a bloody relief when they gave me some morphine in the ambulanceπ

I've seen septic shock a couple of times and each time it was like a scene from the Omen - you have my sympathy and respect.

You need to scroll down through the mountaineering stuff to find the attack. nickbullock-climber.co.uk/2015/12/01/from-dawn-to-dusk-from-dusk-to-dawn/
