Lamb is my favourite meat. Especially when I am pissed and it is going round and round in the kebab shop window under the halogen lights. It's sort of like a lighthouse for drunks.
It calls me, it beckons me. It demands to be eaten, and I do not let it down.

Stopped being veggie when married a meat eater( as mentioned earlier),and it was bacon that tempted me back!Even now I will often chose veg options-but eat plenty of meat as well.

I really am not having a pop, but am curious about veggie products pretending to be meat. It seems an obvious contradiction. Similar to someone giving up smoking, but vaping instead. I'm not a massive meat eater, simply because I'm not a huge fan, so often choose veggie options when dining out. The market for these veggie versions of meat products would suggest there isn't enough range in vegetarian dining. Rog Agreed, I've always found the concept of veggie bacon et al odd.

A bacon sandwich was the temptation that daughter succumbed to after several years of veggie...

Pork loin steaks and Bacon are 2 of the things I find it difficult to resist. The other two are lamb chops and medium rump steak. Oh. And sausages. I really like sausages. You'd be shit at being a vegetarian. I'm just scoffing macaroni and assorted green veg cheese but I had a bacon earlier. I've noticed that even the most determined veggies struggle when they smell bacon. Have been for a couple of months now went in cafe a couple of days ago and just had chips rather than bacon egg and chips which I used to have.

Close your eyes and think of little lambs happily jumping around in the fields on a sunny spring day. Rather than rats and stray dogs and dead immigrants.

Have been for a couple of months now went in cafe a couple of days ago and just had chips rather than bacon egg and chips which I used to have. Any particular reason or is it a passing fad? For 20 odd years I used to only eat meat if we went out, maybe only once a year! Now I only eat meat when I get the urge. I love lamb, almost raw steak, but only once or twice a year and bacon, bacon, bacon I scoffed daily for 8 years when I was car fixing. Now I'll have fry ups for a week solid then none for months. I'm struggling to think what I do normally eat but it's not red meat or chicken. Chicken is too easy, I feel sorry for chickens - what a life.

Well that's what they said. I do believe at the wedding I ate curried goat. It was alright but the lamb cofta was awesome.
