Very pleasant day at Crick & good runs from Brum & back.Paul bought 2 new life jackets-as we're thinking about the tidal Trent this summer,2 sets of smell filters for the loo and he chatted with loads of peeps about loads of things we could do/ alter on the boat.I bought...a patchwork/ embroidered bag,an Indian cotton top,a pair of glass earrings,a book, fudge, sausages, hand made cookies,a £5 Regatta fleece top and some greetings cards.I also managed to get a couple of very nice hessian bags for free. Plus,we started our anniversary day with a Macky Dees brekky -we know how to live dangerously !!!!

Glad you enjoyed it like we did also glad weather held up for you. We are lucky John and Dee to friends from my Army days live in Crick, so we have somewhere to stay if we want [saves money on hotels], so if weather turns we can stay there and try again the next day
