I broke a hole in it with a hammer and nicked the mooring rope/painter as well.

Just having a giggle but the bloke left the oars in the boat and I do like to have oars. I already have 10 oars but another 2 is never going to cause any harm. I like a variety of oars. Solid wood, glued, screwed on plywood blades, long, short etc etc Dinghy seems alright but it was heavy so i didn't move it. For all I know there could have been a couple of dead bodies in there as it was leaning against a wall. It's possible that the deceased boat owners are actually in there and the boatyard is selling the boat illegally but if so I don't think they would have told me about the dinghy. Unless they spotted I was naive enough not to actually look behind it and that I was simply interested in the oars.
