I've been having a dabble over yonder and it struck me that they cannot accept that some people may do things differently and spend an extrodinary amount of time and energy trying to persuade you that you are wrong, this week it has been GRP boats and fridges and freezers. Over here there is much more acceptance and there was me thinking we are all sweaty chip shouldered misfits Phil

Yes the children do seem to go to bed rather early. But then they do need their beauty sleep!

Piss taking about how people do things differently is a full pastime for some. I haven't seen the thread you are talking about but I can guess who the main players are.

Yes the children do seem to go to bed rather early. But then they do need their beauty sleep! I don't mean to go sleep early ...it just happens, I crash on the settee...I then wake at silly o'clock but quite often if i sneak in here no-one up...

I've been up and about for a couple of hours - for some reason, had a dream that I'd woken up fully refreshed... and then did lol
Phil does have a point though... I'm dabbling over there a bit at the moment - to be honest, to get a bit more web traffic and hopefully some more bookings (we've got 5 so far which is great) - have picked up one from New Zealand though so it APPEARS to be working :-)

She is an arse of the first order, seen a thread where she is telling someone to stop posting on the forum as they are no longer buying a boat.
Waste of skin i say.

Well, then, how about starting a thread about NaughtyCal and listing what she is saying wrong? Out of politeness someone can let her know people are dissing her advice at t'other place. Are you allowed to do that sort of thing? Of course, no insults would be accepted, it would have to be level-headed analysis with reasons for alternative views backed by evidence. Are we all capable of level headed analysis ....bearing in mind you all have a reputation as sweaty sweaty ole codgers to live up to? I do like the idea of picking up a dangerous suggestion and using fact to illustrate why and putting forward a reasoned alternative....in theory sounds ok

Guilty as charged on the eary to bed thing. I read in the evenings, so after about 9pm the tablet is off. And by the way, stand well back when Tony Dunkley reads the posts about nautical.......he may explode I get the idea they're not the best of friends you know. Rog

I just went across there, read the fridge thread and that made me hit my head on the desk, but then read another thread....3 posts from Naughty Cal and I got into a fury that reminded me why I left in the first place.
