Neither of those will be as good as the S1. Megapixels is a scam. For quality you need decent lenses. Those cameras are too small.

Since when has it been a 'rule' that the photo has to be taken in 2018? There has been no such stipulation in previous years.

I've just bought a used lumix gf1 off eBay 12 megapixels and way better results than my much newer 20 megapixels fz200. For a camera that came out 9 years ago it's brilliant.

A man has to know his limitations I don't even have a printer, never mind a scan machine. Rog We have an all in one type works with Wi-Fi. So whatever we want to find or print or scab. Is done over WiFi without being anywhere near it. I do have a scanner in the cupboard. Was quite expensive. But it had a slot for putting negatives which it scanned and converted to a photo. Quite clever.

I am a big fan now of the micro four thirds format so if I was buying it would be one of those but they tend to be more expensive. If you really want an SLR with interchangeable lenses then you would do well to look at a Nikon D3400 or a Canon eos 1300D

Ive just given my son my camera cos it was just to heavy and he mislaid his...I want a small lightweight camera ...I know phones are good but when I zoom on my phone it sort of separates and u can see the pixies..well think thats what it is...so has anyone got a small camera that they can suggest for another technophobe?
