Looks incredibly anti-social and selfish to me. But no surprise, of course.
The only good thing about the installation is that it would be easy to pour concrete down the exhaust skin fitting and into the engine, which is what I would do if I ever had the misfortune to be moored near you when you were running it. You just can't help yourself, can you?

I wonder if an expansion box might work in this situation?
Not really sure what they are or do but I have heard of situations where people weld small calor bottles* into the exhaust system as an aid to sound reduction. Might be worth looking at if you have welding capability.
*you are not allowed to cut calor bottles up. If you do the boys in blue will collar you and put you in solitary for 15 years.
Might be worth a go anyway. 3.9kg bottles.

Despite Nick's comment there's been plenty of useful chat, hopefully I'll gain a silencer shaped hole on my racking and Kris gets a bit more peace - sadly he's unlikely to get a bit of peace from Nick though.

Anyway, if Kris does not want TellyMackus to be disturbed by the sound of his generator, he can always print a few of these off and place them around his mooring.

A good silencer will help both you and others, I would also be looking to plumb it into the cauliflower circuit to get some hot water from it as well. If you could keel cool it, a soundproof box would make it perfik

Oh, right, you've got all the right ingredients for a cracking system in time though! Here's the silincer. That measurements is from the outside edge of the elbow. It's approximately 5" in diameter. It has 1 1/2" BSP male nipples on the silencer, one end has a bsp threaded flange fitted. I've got some 1 1/2" sockets and 1 1/2" - 1" reducing bushes that will come with it. If you want it message me an address to post it to and I will go see the lovely girl in the post office tomorrow. I don't want anything for it or the postage 🚢🔨🍻👍
