the trouble with this place is that folk remember EVERY stupid thing I do... or perhaps that's just cause there's a lot of them and they have plenty to ponder.

I had tofu in a Vietnamese restaurant once and it wasn't rubbery at all. The supermarket stuff isn't nice, so saying tofu is crap is like saying beer is crap after trying a can of Carling. .

Don't like Tofu....theres stuff I'll eat out of politeness but hate..advocado mousse is another which I think rank and it was served at a function in my previous life, I waded through half..squid ink pasta was another abomination dished up...

The Daily Mail is one of the worst excuses for a newspaper.
It is more worrying than, for example, The Sun as The Mail purports to be 'serious'.
But Littlejohn who is being paid for an 'opinion piece' is entitled to his opinion.
From the little I have seen it was in no way homophobic, and I believe Centre Parks have scored an 'own goal' with this.

I agree with you, there was nothing whatsoever suggesting it was a homophobic piece. The gay population and it's supporters will only suffer in the long term from crap like this. It's no longer illegal to be gay, and I feel most will accept that if only the gay organisations stop politicizing it. There will always be a few who do not understand, and perhaps do not really want to anyway, that's life, and more importantly their right.

Yes even I think itβs a silly stance. Stopping advertising in the DM is fair enough, it makes money out of hate, but not for that article.

They were probably looking to get away from the DM (who would blame them) and some bright spark spotted an opportunity to do so while getting some extra publicity.
I hate centerparcs. I find it scary thinking how horrible it might be to go there. I would not wish that sort of thing on anyone whatever bad things they may have done in their lives. Its just wrong.
