Tom Daly and his Hubby announce the imminent birth of 'their' daughter?
How's that work then? who's gonna be Mummy & who's Daddy?
'Their' daughter? did they come in a tube and blend the muck together before using the turkey baster or what?
Since there's a couple of poofs posting on here, perhaps they could explain how it all works to a heterosexual 'caveman'.

It's not fucking rocket science. How does an adult need this explaining to them?

I'm all in favour of gender equality but I too am struggling with the concept that Tom and Dustin are "expecting a baby". If there was a female involved somewhere in the process then surely it is disrespectful not to have given her a mention? Or has there been some type of scientific breakthrough?

I guess sometimes 2 married men need offspring to cement the relationship...surrogate woman provides the oven to bake whoever sperm donated...no big deal....though I wonder what he child thinks as they grow up particularly with how awful kids can be at school to those they perceive to be different. I think if a child is cared for and not influenced to be what they are not it doesn't matter..so long as they are loved. I worked with 2 lesbians..each had x 2 children and all ...well almost all lived together in a little house(one child refused and went to his dad)...both women had married men in order to have kids then ditched the men to get partners of the same sex..up to them what they did though i thought it a bit tough on their husbands. I dated a guy who ditched me for a man......it was a funny sorta feeling coping with that one...

I know you are a bit of a Luddite, but surely even you have bought something for home delivery? You wait in all day, expecting a parcel to pop through the letterbox. It is exactly the same with a baby, although the delivery can take longer.

You have to ask yourself if a child born to a mother who has determined to abandon it from the moment of conception, and possibly even before, is destined to live a happy and balanced life. That child might want a Mummy and a Daddy and not just two Daddies. It seems to me that for all of the laws relating to the equality of races, genders, sexuality which have been enacted over the last 100 years or so, there is still one human relationship in which the weaker member has no legal protection whatsoever, and that is the relationship between parents and children.

It depends if you believe a same sex couple cannot provide a loving parental relationship or not. Lots of male/female couples are shit at being parents.

Tom and Dustin view "the child they are expecting" as little different to an Amazon home delivery. Perhaps they would be better off understanding that with homosexuality, childlessness comes with the territory.

Where's the foetus gonna gestate? You gonna keep it in a box ? Fwiw I personally disagree with gay couples having children. I think it inserts a fundamental flaw into the child's psychology from the start which seems to me to be wrong. Just IMO. Other imo's are available I have no objection to homosexuals at all.
