All of the snow around the marina really highlights the amount of piss that the marina is covered in...
Every other boat owner seems to have big dog, the marina usually seems more like a dog walking park than a place to moor boats. Now that we have had a white covering for a few days you can see all the yellow patches, and that is only a day or so's worth. There can't be an inch of this marina that isn't doused in piss.

The same thought crossed my mind looking out at our garden. A Rottweiler must have a fairly high output of pee judging by the yellow patches dotted all over the currently white garden.

And I'll bet you let your kids play in that garden, rolling around in all the piss. Dog owners are weird. It gets worse, I'm chasing him around like crazy clearing his landmines as soon as he's done one before the snow has a chance to cover it. Far left of centre - landmine. Just left of centre - pee. Right of centre - culprit with face bovvered look. Normal he confines it to and concentrates on one place - he tries to kill the rotary washer. Hosing that down sorts that issue. John Cushnie was asked on Gardens Question Time what in a garden could stand dogs peeing up it? His response was 'in my experience the only thing capable of surviving dog pee was a metal lamppost' ๐๐

I haven't been more than a couple of hundred feet from the boat since Tuesday, in spite of there being only a light covering of snow in the city of Hull. Mostly because A) I don't have to ........ and B) I'm not yet running out of anything However I will need to go out on Tuesday or Wednesday as by then the wine and beer will be getting low (also slightly less important .... milk)

Take care out there when you do venture out. It must be terrible for old people. Having to go out and get milk for the tea.
maybe its worth looking at the UHT option? I hate UHT milk. Always have it when visiting the outlaws in France but its really not my cup of tea. Literally.

Under no circumstances should you run out of beer or wine ๐ฎ๐ป๐

Excuse me young gazza.
I make porridge every morning for my girls. A small saucepan with some water in it. Add oats (real ones not prepack sachet oat-so-ripoff shit). Stir about for a bit then serve in a bowl with milk (soya or cow milk depends what you prefer). Put raisins or blueberries on top.
Porridge doesn't need to be made with milk. The milk goes on top after making it. I'm inherently lazy so this suits me.
