The moorings are approximately £9k each currently and overall there are 13 moorings on the 3 sites. The enclosed overlooked site is narrow only so a bit cheaper. £100k sounds about right but there is maintenance associated with the moorings as well.. Cheers again, although I will add that when I looked the start price for Abbot's was 10k I must admit I wouldn't have a clue of maintenance needs but there will clearly be a cost for it. Personally I think these are core CaRT business priorities (to use their term for the BWML sell off which just feels odd, surely a marina is more of core business for a waterways charity than business park) and am glad they will stay in CaRT. Just realised as well I never needed to ask the original question, I knew they were on the website as I'd looked at them. I appreciate the response though.

Cheers, I asked out of curiosity more than anything. I thought that was the case so thanks for confirming. I'm well on my way back up the GU now, can't decide whether to hit the Oxford next or go all the way up north. I did have a brief look at the Burdett road leisure moorings when I was offered a reasonable job in the area. But with the restriction on having dogs on the pontoons and the high price meant I turned the job down. I did also consider the vacancy in Abbot's wharf but those flats don't half crowd it and when I last looked the price was a tad steep for my Midlands blood. Abbots wharf is terrible. Being on the towpath side you are subject to all the yobbo idiots and no privacy whatsoever. Also the commercial units opposite have just been pulled down and massive new build development is going up.

Doesn't surprise me, the flats (I assume) will make someone some serious money.
I looked purely as I was offered the job, quite quickly decided that the canyon wasn't for me.
