the petter was having problems last time I saw him but I'm sure that's sorted. Eller is a really nice space inside. Ian who built it is a top bloke and I have a lot of time for him. He calls it a look a likey rather than a replica as its scaled down a bit and it's made to look like a loaded L&L boat. Swallows nest is a copy of eller. I met the guy who built garstang although I don't like that as much. That's Ian Clarke, the owner of Pennine Cruisers. Eller is currently moored on the Plaza (car park side) of the Springs Branch for the duration of the Waterways Festival. Ian's celebrating 50 years existence of Pennine Cruisers and his 60th birthday. Eller is almost certainly named after Eller Beck which runs alongside the Springs Branch, cuts off through the main Coach Street car park and then takes a sharp left under the canal just before the electric swing bridge (near the redundant mill chimney that stands alongside the canal and Victoria Mill, now apartments). Roger Thanks for your additional info Roger, I'm always happy to learn something new. Did you take any photos of the festival that are worth posting here ? Regards to you both, Peter.

Hi Peter, Well I did take some photos but they are identical to the ones that Andyberg has posted on the topic 'Skipton, Anyone going there' so there is not much point in me posting them. Have a look at those. Best wishes to you, Roger (and Margaret)
