"I would like to hand out a double fizzing to Stanley Skupien/Metropolitan Police. Yes, the Polski homeless jogger strawberry who found a London marathon runners entry bib and used it to steal his medal is back in the news. This time he robs some poor lingonberry's boat, fills it with petrol instead of diesel (daft goosberry) then is caught red handed wearing the boat owners clothes painting the boat black to try and disguise it. His alibi? Some bloke paid him to paint the boat! The Met accept this as they say that they cannot prove otherwise (thick clotted creams/lazy cow's tails….you decide) and all charges (slight matter of theft and criminal damage, nothing to see here) are dropped. Poor peach with wrecked boat gets a letter from Met saying no further action will be taken. He is, quite rightly, appealing this decision. I eagerly await Mr. Skupien's next contribution to our culturally enriched society." www.thesun.co.uk/news/6249930/london-marathon-cheat-forrest-tramp-beaten-up-mob/"The icing on the cake will be when Stanley (with the help of some cuntish lawyers) explores the possibility of compensation against the Met for compensation or damages as some sort of rights that he has have been breached." "I think Stanley is a perfect example of the “Go Get ‘Em” attitude that so many migrants bring to our country. Mr Blair opened the floodgates to provide a motivated workforce prepared to do the jobs that native Brits wouldn’t. Now Stanley has a thriving Big Issue business and yet is still prepared to finish the job that some weak Brit couldn’t and complete the marathon course for him…No money asked, just civic pride powering Stan on (of course the medal might well have weighed in for scrap.) No fannying around expecting the state to house him - taking a lesson from our lovely Somali community Stan pirated a boat, painted it to suit it’s new name of The Black Pig and set off in search of booty in the grand tradition of Ye Merry Old England… they won’t integrate and don’t understand our traditions?.. Hah! It’s a shame that the British youth of today couldn’t show some of Stanley’s enterprise. Just proves that Mr.Blair knew what he was doing when he decided to rub our noses in the benefits of diversity."

I thought this thread was going to be about Rog.

I'm sure Rog will be chuffed to bits to see his name mentioned again. By the way, where is dogless now? His bloggings seem to have faded away. We are on the last 3-weeks run to our departure, time to start getting our bags packed, paperwork sorted. Plane and train tickets bought a few weeks ago, English cash ordered from the bank. Engine coolant change and water pump impeller inspection/replacement one of the first jobs, I have to ask advice about that - eg. how to re-fill the engine so that the impeller is sitting in coolant, and there are no air traps inside the engine; I shall ask from the people who renovated our engine.

I find the certain behaviour of certain elements of society pretty disgusting, Patty, there are often no words strong enough for an adequate description of these low-lifes.

... there are often no words strong enough for an adequate description of these low-lifes. So why use a word that puts people off your message?

You're right, we should buy that Polish thief, only here because the EU let him in, with Poland emptying its prisons and pointing them in the direction of the UK, a nice box of chocolates as, after all, he was only trying to be helpful and make a nice paint job of that boat. How was he to know it was someone else's?

The comment was about your language, and nothing to do with the other guy. Your use of insulting language does nothing to improve the story. We're moored just outside Silsden. We got seriously delayed in Skipton and Gargrave, they're so terrific. Did get home to visit Jane's Mum, and of course she was asleep the whole time, but she's comfortable and well cared for. She wouldn't know us if she was awake so it doesn't really matter. Visiting Jane's Mum by train, gave us the opportunity to visit Granary Wharf in Leeds. The tower blocks make it difficult to picture the basin how it was when we were last there, but the moorings still look fine. There are 48 hr signs attached to the jetties, but no such signs on the wharf, so we hope to get a spot where we can do several days. Heading towards Riddlesden and Keighley tomorrow. Laundrette visit required. Silsden boats had a sign up saying "We do not sell diesel" so I'm hoping one of the other yards does. Glorious scenery on this canal, in all directions Rog

Foxy's post was in quotes. ie not his words.
I do use the c word quite a lot in day to day activities and my kids have heard it regularly but I think putting it on forums is a bit uncool.
Some self moderation may be worthwhile
