Long long walk..phone tells me over 18,000 steps and the white wolf ran free so she'll have clocked up a lot more. Very hot out there now, I was considering going to buy some necessities(mint, soda .. rum) but it'll be heaving, so chilled vino will have to be drink of choice later. I wanted to visit the Botanical gardens but got there to find dogs forbidden so we wandered down past the stream, I made reed boats and she paddled Lovely morning

A lovely sunny morning, not a cloud in the sky ....... but bloomin' chilly !!! the central heating is on and porridge for breakfast !!! It's still August but it feels more like the back end of September early October this morning !!! Still, the sun should warm the place up soon and hopefully we are in for a good day when I can do some outside work !!! yes a bit worrying as I was hoping for three more weeks before needing to light a fire. Seen as my burner isn’t installed at the moment. Do you have to leave the logs out on the stern deck?

Quite cool early morning when I rode to Talybont to do a job. Soon worked up a sweat pruning bushes and weeding borders. Not very pleasant riding back in the hot sun, my motorbike gear is designed for the winter. Still, new kayak almost paid for now.

Had a walk around the park at Bedworth, and a beautiful place it is. Picked some books and material up from charity shops, admired the beautiful Alms Houses once again, and of course the historic church, and walked back for a sit and a beer at the boat. Rog

The park was beautiful ... gorgeous planting in the formal gardens, and a lovely green space.
The little cafe was jolly good too.

When it's your home it's easy to be blind to any positive bits.
Bedworth's just a working town like the area I come from and many others around the country ... but they each have pretty bits.
