A little early for Roger to be exhibiting at the Brinklow show…though he has been known to go to early previously I’ve heard. Don't need you having a pop as well. Rog Sorry 😊👍

On Aug 16, 2024 at 7:51pm Mr Stabby said: Warwickshire Police have spent nearly two years investigating convicted thief and child sex offender Tony Dunkley's complaint that I had gained unauthorised access to the Police National Computer and they still apparently haven't finished. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Interesting remark, . . given that I've never made any such complaint to Warwickshire, or any other Police Force, . . and - " . . nearly two years" - means that the commencement of this fictional so-called investigation would have to pre-date the post linked to below by some four months :- thunderboat.boards.net/post/359739/thread Shit-for-Brains, indeed ! Or is that being somewhat harsh and rather unfair to shit ?

Spent today getting the bikes ready for the show next week, tidied up the rear end of the Scoopy and found some chrome mudguard stays that are in far better condition than the ones on Clockwork Banana in my spares box so polished them up and will fit them if I take that. Also found a wheel in much better condition.
As things stand Sam is planning to visit and I think Charlie probably will, which will be good as he has the van and we can take all the bikes if he comes. As I said to him when he was thinking of buying it "You'll always have loads of mates if you've got a van".

Here's my "Photo of the Day", a British Rail Class 395 "Javelin", built by Hitachi and operated by Southeastern Trains, running on the HS1 line and seen here at Ebbsfleet International Station. HS1 made an enormous difference to those of us who live in Kent. And to those whose spiritual home is Warwickshire🥲😇

HS1 made an enormous difference to those of us who live in Kent. And to those whose spiritual home is Warwickshire🥲😇 Yes, although I live in Kent and am registered to vote in the Thanet East constituency, there is no law requiring me to spend all of the time, some of the time, or any of the time at home so I tend to spend most of the time on my boat in Warwickshire. I could be spending tonight at my home in Kent, I could spend all week at my home in Kent, I could spend the rest of my life at my home in Kent if I wanted to, it's just a bit too far to travel to my job at Slam Transport. I don't use the boat as my home address because firstly my home address is in Kent, and secondly the boat doesn't have an address, seeing as it's a boat.

Had a pleasant walk and called at Clifton Cruisers where their bar and cafe is developing at a pace.
Sat in the sunshine with a cold beer ... it was too late to eat as they close at 4pm on Sundays and it was after 3pm.
Carried on walking and eventually called at the Waterside (Old Royal Oak) for another cold beer.
It was rammed inside and out but the young staff were doing a great job keeping everyone served.
It's a Green King carvery these days, with a usual pub grub menu besides.
We ended up ordering pie, chips and peas each (less than a tenner each) and another drink and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, largely people watching and having a laugh.
Very busy on Sundays, but it's good basic pub grub with pleasant helpful staff.
Sorry if I'm boring anyone but that was our afternoon after a pleasant three hours cruising and we enjoyed it ☀️

Yesterday was pants - very claggy - but today it cleared up and I had a lovely flight up to 14,000 ft, above the clouds in blazing sunshine. I do enjoy boating but I was getting serious cold turkey from 6 weeks of no gliding, better now!

Yeh, as much as I enjoy boating, I do look forward to getting home and taking bikes and toy car out for a blast. Never lost my need for speed. Boat engine/gearbox today then pop it into marina, home for a week or so. Have to repair my car after breaking it last time out. Then a bike meet Thursday night. Car meet weekend which includes a track day. Then it’ll be back out on boat and into autumn. Time flies huh.

Pleasant enough morning, noticeably moving towards Autumn now, but Autumn is a lovely time of year.
Expecting problems at work today and I'm quite likely to refuse the load I've been given this morning and then be banned from the customer's premises. I don't know what other ramifications there will be but as I'm about to be imprisoned under the Failure to Spend Enough Time at Home Act it doesn't really matter.

Chilly morning. I found myself lighting the fire.
Should be okay but yes autumn is approaching.
It is indeed a pleasant time of the yar. No arguments about this.
I believe that before christmas I will find out about the £372k cash legacy. It will be good to get this shit out of the way and get on with other things.
Its a bit silly having it written down in a Will 'andrew gets £260k cash which must increase with RPI from the date of death until when the Will is proved'. So 5 yars of inflation then.
Putting that into the Hargreaves Lansdown rpi calculator:
260......350
Plus 4 yars worth of income from the investment.
Hmm...
Could be a handy pension pot for the hermit !

I'm about to be imprisoned under the Failure to Spend Enough Time at Home Act it doesn't really matter. Interesting you mention the FSETHA. I am being looked at under the Trading and Working Abilities Treaty. They might do similar in terms of limiting freedom for the pleasure of his majesty. These are worrying times. More beer needed.

Much to my surprise, the customer capitulated to my (entirely reasonable) demands and they are loading the trailer now. Think I have a day with lots of sitting around and surfing the internet ahead, which is good as I can prepare my defence to the upcoming charge under the Prohibition of Living in Kent Act.

Don't worry Mr Stabby I'm sure by the year end Admiral will be able to finance a defence for you ... although living in Kent does seem indefensible at first glance. Rog
