Don't worry Mr Stabby I'm sure by the year end Admiral will be able to finance a defence for you ... although living in Kent does seem indefensible at first glance. Rog It's bound to be an uphill struggle facing the brilliant legal mind of Tony Dunkley though. I mean, look how quickly CRT kowtowed to his ultimatum that they put Halcyon Daze back where they took it from.

I discovered something very important today.
Its a life changer.
I knew it would happen at some point.

I discovered something very important today. Its a life changer. I knew it would happen at some point. Care to share? The £370k cash legacy doesn't matter. It is irrelevant. Someone told me all you need to do is use your brain and you can make money. To be fair this was quite a long time ago (4 yars) and the same person later broke in and stole virtually everything from my Boat (not a friend or relation just a passing Boater). It was something which took several yars for me to realise. He had a good point (and loads of useless tat from my Boat!). Not that I want to be a burglar ! Its just an interesting life lesson.

There was a definite "nip in the air" today. Not like an overhead Chinaman or anything but it was unseasonably cool.

Heavy rain last night but a beautiful sunny and blue sky morning.
I know some will be very pleased to learn we're off to the launderette today ... some further rain forecast mid morning which we'll hope to dodge.
And some shopping chores to be done too.
Of course all depends on getting a mooring 🤞🤞

Had an interesting few minutes squeezing past a wide beam that was on its maiden voyage from Dunchurch to Wigrams turn. Only a couple of miles, but crew looked very stressed. Unfortunately met it after Braunston, which is a shame as I would have loved to watch it going through there. It was a big one as well..

Doesn't look too relaxing in that environment does it ... looks much more at home on wide canals and rivers.

On 12 Aug 2024 at 5:16pm Mr Stabby said: . . . I don't live on the mooring. I live in a house in Kent where I pay Council Tax and am on the electoral register. - and - later on 12 Aug 2024 at 8:35pm Mr Stabby also said: . . . as thick as two short planks. How I live is completely, totally legal in every aspect. Unlike some here, I fully understand the Law and do not think that different interpretations of it apply to me. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ It's evident from the above quotes and his 'selfie' photograph (reproduced below), the extent to which moronic psychopath Vince 'Shit-for-Brains' Coventon does actually 'understand' any part or any aspect of the Law, in general or in particular, . . or the likelihood of his living a life that's - quote - ". . completely, totally legal in every aspect". Warwickshire Police appear to have been taken in and fooled by Coventon's post (quoted above) in which he states that he lives in Kent. Their enquiries appear to extend to looking into this man's dubious history and background, including employment and locations, past and present. To this end, and despite the Police officers assigned to investigating the wide range of internet/on-line offences committed by him being based at Newbold Road Police Station, Rugby, CV21 2DH, . . no more than 10 to 15 minutes drive from the residential boat moorings at Colehurst Farm, CV23 0PT, near Rugby, where this moronic psychopath has lived on a (uninsured) boat that he doesn't own for the past 9 years, . . the Police have so far done little more than to expend time and resources in pursuing enquiries that extend to other Police forces, the DVLA, the DWP, local authorities, the Canal & River Trust, employers and mooring providers in the Rugby area, and ProBoards, the hosts of this Forum. Heavy rain last night but a beautiful sunny and blue sky morning. Had a brief spell of very heavy rain late morning, otherwise a mixed bag of sunshine and showers. Sam sent me this pic, Hornby have made an OO scale model of him. Apparently they put him in a huge scanner to do this.

On Aug 16, 2024 at 7:51pm Mr Stabby said: Warwickshire Police have spent nearly two years investigating convicted thief and child sex offender Tony Dunkley's complaint that I had gained unauthorised access to the Police National Computer and they still apparently haven't finished. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Interesting remark, . . given that I've never made any such complaint to Warwickshire, or any other Police Force, . . and - " . . nearly two years" - means that the commencement of this fictional so-called investigation would have to pre-date the post linked to below by some four months :- thunderboat.boards.net/post/359739/thread Shit-for-Brains, indeed ! Or is that being somewhat harsh and rather unfair to shit ?

Really chilly this morning.
Fire is going which is always pleasant.
I am aware that next weekend is a bank horror day. Usually this is the last busy time on the River. We have the river Wey trip the week after.
So that should be alright.
Yesterday I found a Boat fender made by "Taylor Made" who do golf clubs. The fender is the shape of a golf club head.
Oh dear !
I was good at golf but as Oscar Wilde is supposed to have pointed out 'golf is a good walk spoiled'.
